The BOTTLEBOX® story - A recycling success
We use millions and millions of discarded water and soda bottles every year to make our BOTTLEBOX® containers. The
BOTTLEBOX®, founded by Direct Pack in 2008, is the original take-out container made from post-consumer recycled
PET. We are dedicated to working for a sustainable environment, and we are thrilled to see the demand for our
BOTTLEBOX® containers growing. Please see the back of this brochure to learn more about the process of turning your
recycled PET bottles into outstanding containers.
Embossing and Customization
Beside the wide range of stock products, we specialize in customization. Our passion is to develop outstanding
packaging solutions with a strong focus on both visual design, functionality and environmental sustainability. You
can personalize your packaging in several ways: emboss your logo or message on the lid, select a color that matches
your brand or let us create packaging with the exact measurements, ounce capacity and functionality you need. Logo
embossing is available for a minimum of 800,000 pieces per year.

Tired of black and clear containers? We have the solution. Our most popular
BOTTLEBOX® containers are now available in different colors that will
enhance your food and attract your customers’ attention. The colored stock
range includes 8×8” and 6×8” one-piece containers and 10×7” two piece
containers. They have the same environmental benefits, contemporary
design and great functionality as the standard BOTTLEBOX® containers –
with the added benefit of color!

Many of the most successful restaurant chains in the country are using
our elegant, functional entrée containers. Made for hot or cold food
applications, our entrée containers come in a variety of shapes and depths.
The hot food bases are made with Polypropylene, which can be re-used and
also recycled in certain areas. The lids are all made of recycled PET.

The BOTTLEBOX® Process
1.The recycling center receives bales of discarded
bottles.

3.The bottles are ground up into flakes and washed
thoroughly.

2.After breaking the bales, the bottles are sorted into
different colors.
4.The clean flakes meet food grade standards.

6.The sheet is then used in a thermoforming
process to make our BOTTLEBOX® containers.
