School Remodel
we learned how to..
• make the photographs combine so cleanly that they are seamless. and where you cannot tell where one picture ends and
the other begins.
• use Gradients or air brush techniques used in the layer masks to blend the photographs.
• make changes required with complex blending with layer masks such as in the trees fields and skies.
I wanted this piece of work in my portfolio because I really feel like its really fun and exiting, and it also showcases one of my favorite childhood shows “The Wizard of oz.”

Things we learned:
• Add special effects (drop shadows, outer glows, special text fills, etc) to make all of the text stand out
and easier to read.
• How to select complex edges.
• How to add masks
• And lastly how to cleanly select the objects
I like this piece of work, because all the colors and I the overall layout came
out the way i wanted, and it I one of the best pieces of work I’ve so far; and
I also like fish.

i lerned how to..
• Combine Parts from at least 5 different animals in order
to creatively create a new animal.
• use layer mask blending when the animals were difficult
to combine
• Make Layer masks clean and usem on all animal part
layers.
• make sure the animal is easily visible over the background.
I put this piece in my portfolio because I love how this animal is so creative and colorful, and I’m just really proud of
my self for creating a new species.

Sandoval County Fair Flyer
• Things we learned:
• How to get flyer grabs your attention from across the
room and is easy to read and find the information
• make Titles have contrasting size, colors, fonts and/or
drop shadows, making the titles jump off the page.
• make Other things have contrast which grab attention,
like backgrounds, shadows, borders or object size.
• show off most important information as the biggest, the
least important smallest.
• Elements of repitition are clearly visible across the flyer
• make Crisp alignment is seen across the entire flyer.
I wanted this flyer to be in my portfolio because I think it actually look
legit and like something they would actually have to advertise the fair.

Optical illusion
• Things we learned:
• The basic tools in photo shop.
• effects and filters as well.
I put this project in my portfolio because it was one of the
first things I made in this class. And as you look through my
portfolio you will see the improvement in my work.
