On your earlier career, you’re most
known by a vocal group called “Bukan
Bintang Biasa”. How did it started?
It actually was started since I was 3 years old.
I stared in some of TV commercials, magazine,
and any other kind of commercial. Then for my
acting career, I started when I was in junior high
school and in that moment I got an award from
FFI (Festival Film Indonesia), I got nominated
for the film that I was in “Bekisar Merah” as a
new comer. Since then, people started to notice
me more and offered me some jobs in big movies. As it has started like that, things are working their way up. After those, back in 2006 or
2007, someone offered me to take an audition
for this vocal group. And that someone is Melly
Goeslaw, so how could I say no? And I thought
about it and I guess there was nothing to loose
to try. Surprisingly, I got chosen along with Bella
(Laudya Cynthia Bella).
So what’s your recent job or activity
that you’re into right now?
Acting. I’m a regular in this segment on Net
TV, and also modeling and presenting on TV.
And for BBB (Bukan Bintang Biasa) we have
this reality show segment at Trans TV. Also for
talkshow, online or offline and hosting some
programs.

What’s your current tunes at the moment?
I don’t place my favorite tunes on any segment.
I like everything that sounds great to my ears.
Cause it seems that my playlist in my ipod is too
widely varied, ranging from major labels to indie
labels, local tunes or international. But recently
I listen to Mr. Bieber, hahaha sounds weird
huh? His music is so different than before.

What’s the most memorable experience
in your life, related to your job?
For me, everything is so memorable. I enjoy my
job a lot cause we meet a lot of people everyday. When I won an award from FFI, when I
started my singing career, my modeling career,
I guess I enjoy my life a lot. Every moment has
its own thing that I tend to memorize. Since I
was 3 years old, when I started my career in a
commercial, I still remember the smell of twoway cake powder on my face, and also what I
wore and what I did. All of them are so memorable.

Maybe.. casual style?
Yes, maybe casual. But you know, even though
in my perception my style is categorized as “
casual”, my friends see it as unique, and somehow weird for them. I like warm, pastel colors
and I also like dark color.
Ah, so you wear local products! What’s
your favorite brand so far or maybe in
the moment?
I’m quite proud to say that I love so many local
products, way before people talk about “Wear
Local Product”. I love so many brands from lo-

Well, in 5 years I’ve seen that the revolution has
been rapidly change. Let’s say Jakarta Fashion
Week, nowadays it’s quite a hip in town. I see
that it’s a way that people know and appreciate
the brands and of course the designers.
I’m sure that people’s taste in fashion are also
higher than before, and that makes the fashion
industry will spread its wings.
Well, at the end, I’d love you to know

Who inspires you as an actress?
I’m inspired by so many seniors. I mean, for me
inspiration is not about the acting technique but
these figures inspire me in how they behave
towards newbies in the industry or how they
relate to people. I like humble people and talkative figure, the one who doesn’t think that “age
does matter”. Let’s say, Ria Irawan, one figure
that I quite adore.

Beside all of your singing and acting
career, you’re also known by people because of your style and sense of fashion. What is “fashion” for you?
I feel like what I wear is something that I show
not to people who see it but for my own comfort.
I love and I appreciate my body, so I try to dress
it with something that I like. Because when we
wear something that we really like and feel
comfortable, we tend to feel happy. And happy
people are pretty and cheerful. So, no wonder
why these kind of people, who love their own
attires are always look good and confident.
What’s your daily style?
I’m always confused when this question

What do you like to spend your weekend?
Workout in the morning, brunch with my bestfriends, go
to movies with boyfriend, out for drinks and hang out
with friends at night or attending any interesting events
(if there’s any), art exhibition, movie screening, fashion
presentation, concert, etc or just stay home watching
movie.
what kind of party do you like?
Uhm, the right one. You know, the kind party where you
can spend it with right people and good music. Because
I know for sure that kind of party would give me new experience. For instance, the Benefit Cosmetics party in
Penjara Alcatraz, San Fransisco. Inarguably it was one
of the best party experience I have ever witness. Oh!
when all of that happens, place wont really be an issue.

What do you like to spend your weekend?
I feel like my weekends are nothing special, because
since I have been working as a freelancer forever, everyday feels like Sunday for me, so the weekends are
pretty much the same as any other days, with less trafic
hahaha. I like to go out and eat most of the times, if I
have events to attend then I will, but I am not a party
person.
