"The Pope (John Paul II), also beatified Dina Belanger
because of her devotion to Jesus in the Blessed
Sacrament. Jesus revealed to Dina the power of the holy
hour in making reparation. One form of reparation is the
ability to make up for what is lacking in the life of another. One day before her holy hour, Jesus showed Dina a
multitude of souls on the precipice of hell. After her holy
hour, Jesus showed the same souls in the hands of God.
He told her that through holy hours of prayer a multitude
of souls go to heaven who otherwise would have gone to
hell as one person can make up for what is lacking in the
lives of others by winning precious efficacious graces for
their salvation. In other words, Eucharistic Adoration is
the outpouring of God's Divine Mercy on the world!"
- from "How One Soul Coming Before the Blessed Sacrament Can Change the
World

ST. ANNE CATHOLIC SCHOOL
THE FIRST MASS
OF THE SCHOOL
YEAR
August 26, 2015
Dear Parishioners:
The first full week of school is behind us! Now that we are up and running, I must express my gratitude to the many
friends and supporters of our school who helped get the year started. Thanks first of all to the parents and guardians
who have entrusted their children to our care. Be assured we will do our best to prepare them for their futures. Next
up are the parents of the PTO, who hosted a first-rate back-to-school event. It was a wonderful way to introduce new
families to St. Anne, as well as a chance for returning families to reconnect. The PTO also produced this year’s
spirit t-shirt. Parishioners are invited to purchase one of our spirit shirts for only $10 and wear it proudly showing
your support of the school.
We have benefitted from the generosity of several families in an effort to beautify the entrance and lobby areas of the
school. Landscaping work out front and the relocation of the statues near the front door certainly provide a peaceful
welcome to visitors. Likewise inside, the painting of St. A nne with the child Mary in the lobby is a special tribute to
our patron which communicates a sense of mission to those who pass by. George Washington is now honored in the
main office, along with a flag, produced by some members of our eighth grade class when they were in kindergarten
during the 2007- 08 school year, both gifts of thoughtful generosity.
The kitchen floor in the staff work room has just been replaced as a gift to the school and part of a larger effort to
perk-up the area for our teachers and staff. We have also been able to secure new chairs for the work room which
should arrive shortly.
Particular thanks to our teachers and staff, who have responded magnificently to the several changes to our operations
and routines. Our new group is settling into the community very well with the guidance and assistance of our returning
veterans.
Finally, I must thank Fr. Tommy and the parish staff. They have been of great assistance in starting our school year.
Both students and teachers are very happy to see Fr. Tommy visiting the school and engaging the students during the
school day.
We invite all parishioners to drop by the school to take a tour and see for yourselves how well the faculty, staff, and
more importantly, the students have settled into a new school year. Thank you for your continued support of the school.
Yours in Christ,
Joseph Noonan
