industry and construction market segments. Tratec was founded in 1996 by
William Willumsen and has several offices and facilities in Southern Norway.
We deliver projects, systems and services within drilling equipment, bulk handling systems,
electrical installations, automation, mechanical & hydraulics, and engineering services.

OFFSHORE EPCI
Tratec is a supplier to operators and drilling companies, providing
multidiciplinary offshore modification projects within drilling areas/
rigs in addition to EIT&A/SAS systems.
Tratec Farsund Offshores well-established process-based management system ensure optimal project
execution in accordance with the Operators and drilling companies’ requirements for HSE, Quality and
LCI deliveries. The company has also established quality processes for risk management in order to
ensure our projects are cost-efficient and in compliance with schedules and specifications. Our staff
has extensive experience in managing offshore modification projects, including project management,

OVERHAUL OF DRILLING EQUIPMENT
Tratec is an innovative and efficient supplier providing overhaul,
installation and service of drilling equipment.
Tratec Offshore Solutions has significant experience within overhaul, test, installation and
commissioning of complete drilling packages for rig operators. We also deliver service engineers,
technical support and spare parts.
Tratec perform overhaul of drilling equipment and cranes at our own workshop, out on the rig offshore,
or at site during yard stay. We have tailor-made facilities and equipment for overhaul. We also offer
specialized teams of service engineers to travel to the rig to carry out overhaul and installation work.
Tratec is a supplier of installation, test and commissioning services during yard stays. We have
extensive expertise within a number of disciplines such as mechanics, hydraulics, electro,
automation, rope access technicians, NDT and project management. We have experience with
overhauling all types of drilling equipment including derrick drilling machines, roughnecks, bridge
cranes, guiding arms, pipe handling cranes, mouse holes, access baskets, tubular feeding machines,

AUTOMATION
Tratec is a leading technology company with extensive knowledge and
experience of automation systems for offshore, industrial, transport and
municipal applications.
Tratec Norcon systems comprise control systems, alarm systems and equipment for process
automation. Tratec Norcon systems for offshore applications are typically ESD, MUD, pipe
handling, anchor and winch handling and crane control systems. Tratec Norcon delivers
automation systems based on governing standards, customer requirements and company
standard solutions. The service department makes sure that customers are provided with
specialist support during start up and commissioning on site as well as long term support and
after sales during system operation.
Tratec Norcon has since 2004 developed and delivered SCADA systems based on WinCC Open
Architecture. The company is an official ETM Premium SOLUTION PARTNER on this product. Tratec
Norcon has more than 20 years of experience with system design and programming based on
Siemens PLC, Allen Bradley PLC and Mitsubishi PLC. The company has been a Siemens Solution
Partner since 2008. Tratec Norcon provides introductory training and specialist training on all
three types of PLC.

Tratec Agdermaskin is a technology and service company within production and modification

Tratec Koab supply skilled technical personnel within production, installation, test and
