service. COSCO’s Gulf of Mexico Express Service (GME) originates in Busan with calls at Shanghai, Ningbo, Xiamen, Yantian,
then via the Panama Canal to Colon and terminating at the Port of Houston. Just 24 days Yantian to Houston, and 24 days
export direct to Busan.

Calling again at Houston after twenty years, the Port’s modernization program made COSCO’s choice an easy one. COSCO
vessels arrive at the Barbours Cut Container Terminal, offering 6,000 feet of berthing space, 13 cranes, excellent intermodal
connections and an extensive feeder network. Containers move quickly and easily in and out of Houston to Texas, Northern
Mexico, and all of the surrounding Gulf states.

… Book online and the advance booking advantage is yours. With COSCO’s e-booking service you can book up to seven
weeks in advance, putting you first in line for westbound cargo. E-booking is just one part of the complete suite of
e-commerce services that COSCO offers.
COSCO Helps You Move Product Around the
Globe or Around the Corner
The numbers are impressive, and what they add up to is that
COSCO has long been one of the largest container lines in the
world. COSCO owns and operates more than 120 container ships
with a current and growing capacity of roughly 300,000 TEUs.
Owned and leased containers double that capacity to 600,000
TEUs, including 20, 40, High Cube & 45-foot containers, 20 &
40-foot flatracks and platforms, other specialized equipment
and temperature controlled units. New COSCO vessels provide
plug-ins for up to 1,000 refrigerated units ready to carry your
chilled, frozen, or hard-frozen goods.
COSCO currently provides 23 main line North American
services, enabling shippers to have access to more than 1000
ports around the globe – that’s more ports of call than any
other carrier. Those shippers, and ports, are serviced by 85
COSCO offices in 49 countries, with 1000 operational
agencies located in 160 countries. With 25,000 dedicated and
skilled employees worldwide, we can assure our customers
that it’s hard to find any point on the globe that is not serviced
efficiently and economically by COSCO containerized
cargo services.
