A student-centred learning framework is adopted. Case
materials are developed by a studio team and delivered
to students who work in small groups to define,
formulate, and solve problems related to the case. The

encourages students to take on student exchange
outside Hong Kong
Provided some conditions are fulfilled, credit transfer
is feasible, so that credits gained from the Host
institution outside Hong Kong can be accepted to
replace some courses in the BSc Surveying programme
One course in Year Three “City and Urban
Development” is a 6-credit course combing learning
experience and study trip outside HK.
