2014 marked a year of business opportunities for our customers as they turned

invigorating: we see it in the faces of the men and women who are turning their

Hershey, and beyond as commercial construction and renovations rise. And in
spite of past disruptive economic cycles, our lending strength continues to be the

This was a growth year for us as well. We added 17 new employees, bringing our team to 64. We expanded our
commercial lending services and team with four new faces. Our two new mortgage lenders are supporting area
residents as they buy or build the homes of their dreams. And a newly appointed SBA lender is helping small
businesses find the right borrowing solution.
Once again, Centric Bank was the primary sponsor and proud participant in the Camp Hill Toys for Tots Holiday
Parade. While pouring rain forced the cancellation of the Parade outside, the weather couldn’t dampen our
spirit! There was a fantastic turnout for indoor festivities in the Camp Hill Borough building and the U.S.
Marines received a record number of donated toys. The Mummers, scheduled to perform in the parade, treated
community residents young and old to an energetic show indoors. “We Revolve Around You”—even on the
dance floor!
In the fall, the Centric Bank scoreboard was unveiled at the long-awaited renovation of Seibert Park, home of the
Camp Hill Lions! We consider the scoreboard a landmark of our lasting commitment to our Camp Hill neighbors.
Community spirit is at the core of who we are, and over the past year Centric Bank team members marched
in the Memorial Day parades in Derry Township and Camp Hill, attended the American Heart Association’s Go
Red Luncheon and The Salvation Army’s Shoe Strut, the YWCA’s Power of Style, and rallied around many other
organizations and causes.
Our stock offering raised over $4 million and in every conversation with potential investors, the Centric Bank story
of Powering Business and Communities. Growing with Intention.TM resonated and inspired. We recently announced
consolidated earnings of $1.2 million year to date. Net loans as of December 31, 2014, reached $250.9 million,
with loan growth of $23.5 million, an increase of 10.3% year over year. Our total assets at December 31, 2014 were
$311.8 million, an increase of $7.4 million, or 2.4% year over year.

Battle of the Banks
Centric Bank participated in the first annual
Battle of the Banks and raised over $750 for the
Mental Health Association of the Capitol Region,
not to mention showed that bankers can do a

Toys for Tots Parade
A bit of rain couldn’t dampen our spirits at the
Camp Hill Toys for Tots Parade. While the Parade
had to be cancelled, the Mummers still came to
give us quite the indoor show!
The new score board, sponsored by Centric Bank, at the
renovated Seibert Park in Camp Hill gets lit up for the first time
at the dedication ceremony in October.
The Quaker City Mummers performed for community
members who braved the weather to come out to the
Borough Building after the Toys for Tots Parade was cancelled.
Charity Jeans Days for Food Donations
In November, we held several casual days for a
cause, on which employees could wear jeans
to work if they contributed a minimum of $5 or
items of food . We collected and donated over
$275 and 246 pounds of food. Our mortgage
team also volunteered their time to help distribute frozen turkeys and bags of potatoes.

How long have you lived in the Harrisburg area? I moved to Harrisburg
back in 1997, relocating from Wilkes-Barre. I had been looking for work
and felt that Harrisburg supported a robust economy with a diverse
workforce, and it was a nice community to raise a family.

Hershey area include the Lower Dauphin Falcon
Foundation and the Trojan Foundation. In Camp
Hill the organizations supported include the Cleve
J. Fredericksen Library and the Lion Foundation.

What do you enjoy most about working at Centric Bank? I have worked
in banking for over 20 years and I have worked for various institutions
from small community banks to large internationals. In all my experiences it is rare that you have the
opportunity to work for a company like Centric Bank where serving the community truly is the focal
point of its mission. Whether we are funding a new home purchase, lending to a small business, or
providing solutions for a family to save for their future, everyone in the bank is focused on what they
can do to help.
How are you involved in the local community? I have always felt that you have to be personally
involved if you want to have a strong community. I currently serve as Treasurer of the Kiwanis Club
of Harrisburg City. I’ve been involved with the United Way of the Capital Region for almost 15 years
and am currently Co-chair of the Annual Day of Caring, on the Youth Day of Caring Committee, and
have served on an Allocations Panel in the past. And for the past two years I have served as Theatre
Harrisburg’s Board President. Over the years I have taught financial education classes, ran for causes,
marched in parades, and even jumped in the Susquehanna River in February!
What is the best advice you’ve ever received? The best advice I ever received was to treat all people
with respect. In banking we deal with individuals from all socio-economic backgrounds. When
customers come to the bank they are seeking some type of financial assistance, even if it is something
as simple as cashing their paycheck. It doesn’t matter whether an individual is just starting out, has
financial hardships, or is well-off; each customer deserves to be treated as our number one client.

Who has been the most influential person in your life? The most influential person in my life has
been my father. Growing up we didn’t have much and my father experienced many challenges
during his life, from owning a business and losing it, to having the factory he worked in shut down.
Throughout all the challenges I never remember hearing him complain or wallow in self-pity, he
simply did whatever he had to do to take care of his family. From his example I learned to deal with
difficulties and never get down on myself. Life is what you make out of it, and if you work hard and
stay focused things will work out.
