Yacht
The
From her grand proportions to her stately
interior with its vast entertaining areas and
marble spiral staircase, the 77m (252.6ft) Samar
is both elegant and impressive in every way. Built
by Devonport Yachts in the UK - a yard with a
true maritime heritage - and delivered in 2006,
Samar’s meticulous engineering ensures that she
is both silent and vibration-free, with luxurious
accommodation for 18 guests in nine cabins.
Perfectly equipped for global adventure with a
helipad, drive-in tender bay and a pool, she has a
transatlantic range of 6,000 nautical miles.

and a stunning swimming pool with waterjets

bar on the bridge deck aft seats 16 and makes a
fantastic setting for entertaining, or guests can

The yacht’s floodable tender bay was designed for a
Chris-Craft Corsair to be driven directly in and out of
the garage. In keeping with her global explorer design,
the yacht holds a further four tenders and has space for a
wealth of watersports equipment, including a dive store
and compression room.

Interior
The
Classical interior design by Joe Tohme creates a sense of
exquisite grandeur, with meticulous attention to detail and all
furniture hand-made to order. The large, oval owner’s office
on the bridge deck converts into a dining room and is accessed
from an elegant saloon. Descending to the main deck, light
floods through a wall of windows in the high-ceilinged main
saloon, leading through to a spectacular formal dining room
with seating for 24 guests.
An elevator serves all four decks, connecting the lower deck
accommodation to the VIP suite on the bridge deck, a VIP
suite and owner’s suite on the main deck, and the fully equipped
gym and stunning steam room on the sun deck.

The luxurious owner’s suite has spectacular 180
degree views forward over the bow and private access
to the foredeck. A circular sky light above the bed
fills the cabin with light, while its secluded position
forward on the main deck makes it a calm and
peaceful retreat. An expansive bathroom with a large
corner bath, shower and separate walk-in wardrobe
with ample storage ensures the owner has everything
they could possibly need on board.
