Day 1: Arrive in Munich, Germany
Arrive in Munich, where you are met and transferred to your
hotel. This evening, join your A&K Tour Director for a welcome

Day 2: Munich / Christmas Craftwork
Tour Munich’s old town today and visit the Frauenkirche,
Munich’s cathedral. After lunch, shop for traditional crafts in
the Christmas market before transferring to ‘Amadeus Silver,’
moored in Passau, for priority embarkation. A welcome cocktail

Day 3: Salzburg / Into Austria
Perhaps embark on an optional walking tour of Passau before
your excursion to enchanting Salzburg, birthplace of Mozart
and a setting for The Sound of Music. Stroll the city’s historic
center, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, enjoy lunch and visit the
traditional Christmas market in Domplatz (Cathedral Square)

Day 4: Melk/ Dürnstein / Charming Christmas Eve
From Melk today, consider an optional
excursion to the lovely Wachau District,
including a visit to the Benedictine abbey
of Melk. After lunch, cruise to Dürnstein,
a charming small town. After a special
holiday celebration aboard ship, you may choose to attend

Day 5: Vienna / Enchanted Christmas Morning
Awaken Christmas morning in Vienna — one of the most
enchanting places in the world to experience the holiday season.
Drive along the Ringstrasse, lined with lavish mansions and
public buildings decorated in Christmas finery. Pass the stunning
State Opera, see the unique architecture of Hundertwasser House
and visit St. Stephen’s Cathedral. After lunch aboard ship, explore
at leisure or join an optional visit to Schönbrunn Palace, seat of
the Habsburg dynasty. After dinner, gather for a joyful Christmas

Day 6: Bratislava, Slovakia / Historic Old Town
In Bratislava today, your tour includes A&K exclusives. Visit
the castle, a massive fortress high above the city that offers
sweeping panoramic views. Continue to the old town to visit
the captivating Church of St. Elizabeth (the “Blue Church”), a
fairytale landmark tucked away on a quiet street. Enjoy a wine
tasting before returning to the ship for an afternoon cruise to
Grein. Tonight, join the captain for a gala dinner on board.

Day 7: Grein & Linz, Austria / Half-Timbered Houses
Moor in Grein for an optional guided city walk. The town’s
Stadttheater is Austria’s oldest theater. Later, in Linz, consider an
optional walking tour to view the town’s colorful, half-timbered
houses. Back aboard ship, enjoy a private pre-dinner cocktail
party in the Amadeus Club, hosted by your A&K Tour Director.

Day 8: Munich, Germany / Bavarian Panorama
Disembark and drive to Munich, where you visit breathtaking
Nymphenburg Palace, once a summer residence of the Bavarian
Wittelsbachs. After lunch, visit Olympic Park, built for the 1972
summer games. From atop the 600-foot tower, view all of Munich
and the surrounding countryside. Gather for a farewell dinner

After breakfast, transfer to Munich airport for your flight home.
