Boeing Optimization Center
The purpose of the center is to aid in the implementation of design optimization methods within the product development
process. The Optimization Center is staffed with a combination of Altair optimization experts and engineers from Boeing
and Boeing’s partners to reduce the weight of aircraft systems.
Airbus A350 XWB Optimization Center
The Airbus Optimization Center is located in Toulouse, France and is focused on weight and cost reduction initiatives
associated with the A350-XWB.
Diehl Aerospace
Diehl selected Altair ProductDesign as its simulation partner for structural analysis and weight optimization. The decision to
partner with Altair followed close project collaboration between the two companies to successfully develop the 787 Dreamliner
cabin lighting system.
