Christ in us is the source
of our fragrance. How is
your fragrance of Christ
perceived by those who
are Christians and those
who are not...Do you
have a victorious
Christian Life?
Scripture
2 Corinthians 2:14-16, “ But thanks be to
God, who always leads us in His triumph
in Christ, and manifest through us the
sweet aroma of the knowledge of Him in
every place. For we are a fragrance of
Christ to God among those who are
being saved and among those are
perishing to the one aroma from death to
death, to the other aroma from life to
life. And who is adequate for these
things?”
Guest speakers
Candy Christmas
is a third generation
gospel singer
beginning with her
grandmother's
siblings, The Happy
Goodman Family.
She recorded her first album with her
family’s group, The Hemphill’s. Candy is a
six GMA Dove Award winner and was
nominated for Contemporary Album of the
year in 1984 for her solo recording Heart
Afire.
Candy Christmas is the Founder and
President of The Bridge Ministry, Inc.
Candy has spent her life giving to others
through music. She began her career as an
adolescent, and quickly climbed to the top
of the Christian charts. Later, she married
and happily settled into family life, but she
wanted a way to continue her ministry of
giving. Her heart's desire is to make a
difference in the lives of the less fortunate.
That is what prompted her to start The
Bridge Ministry in 2004.
Blenda Wicker
has served alongside her
husband, Wayne, in
various full-time
Ministerial positions for
the past 34 years. She is
a creative and gifted
speaker who shares her
heart in a manner that will keep you
smiling.
This gift has opened many doors for her to
minister in many local, state and national
retreats and conferences including,
Alabama, Arkansas, Illinois, Kansas,
Kentucky, Michigan, Oklahoma, Ohio,
Pennsylvania, Texas, Virginia, and West
Virginia.
Her gifting and varied background of
ministry experience in leadership
positions have made her service
invaluable to planning committees for
national denominational events. She has
authored many programs that have been
utilized by several states.
Beverly Beard
currently serves as the
Director of Community
Support at the Smoky
Mountain Children’s
Home in Sevierville,
TN. Beverly received
her Bachelor of Arts
from Lee University and a Master’s in
Counseling from the Pentecostal
Theological Seminary. She is a minister
in the Church of God as well as a
Licensed Professional Counselor. Before
coming to SMCH, Beverly served as a
Case Manager and later as a Mental
Health Therapist at Hiwassee Mental
Health Center in Cleveland, TN.
Beverly is married to Dennis Beard and
has a 2 year old son, Riley.
