The USA Masters Games Basketball competition will be held
Wednesday, July 27 – Sunday, July 31, 2016 at various basketball
facilities in Greensboro, North Carolina.

Competition
The Greensboro Sportsplex, a 106,000 square-foot indoor sports complex, offers eight basketball courts. The Sportsplex is
home to Delaney Rudd’s North Carolina Basketball Academy and recently hosted the NCAA/USSSA Hoops and Dreams
Showcase Tournament. The basketball facilities at UNC-Greensboro combine for a total of eight courts. UNC-Greensboro’s
Fleming Gym has hosted numerous Southern Conference championship tournaments in basketball, volleyball and wrestling.

Tournaments:
 5v5 (full court) competition will be available for Men’s,
Women’s, and Co-Ed teams. Max of 12 players.
 3v3 (half court) competition will be available for Men’s
and Women’s teams. Max of 10 players.
 Teams will be given the opportunity to register for the
3v3 tournament or the 5v5 tournament or both.
Co-Ed (5v5 only): 21-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54,
55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80-84, 85+
Men (3v3 and 5v5): 21-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54,
55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80-84, 85+

 Participants may register for one or both.

A Basketball Athlete Reception will be held at the Greensboro
Coliseum Complex on Saturday evening, July 30th.
Special USA Masters Games Activities
The Games Village at the Greensboro Coliseum Complex will be the site of nightly entertainment, beer garden, accreditation and athlete
services, Health & Fitness Expo, and special activities throughout the Gams. On Friday evening, July 22, Opening Ceremonies will be held
at the Greensboro Coliseum, while on Sunday evening, July 31, Games Closing Ceremonies will be held at the adjacent amphitheater.
