SENIORS - Wharton High School
FALL 2015
Dear Students and Parents,
With the new school year approaching, there are some changes happening not only in our district but on our campus.
As we begin the new school year, I want to highlight a few changes
that you will see on our campus. First, as many of you know, construction will
begin on Bruce B. Downs Blvd., during this school year. In efforts to relieve
some of the anticipated stress for parent-pick/drop-off lines, we have moved the
car-rider line to the south end of campus by the auditorium and cafeteria areas.
Parents will no longer drop their students off in the front of the school near visitor parking. With this change in mind, we’ve moved our bus ramp to the north end of campus
by student and faculty parking with the exception of some of our special needs buses.
As for the second change, this is the first year that we are moving our newsletter
entirely to our website. Please go visit us at http://wharton.mysdhc.org/ to view our full
newsletter.
I am excited about the upcoming school year and I look forward to seeing all of our
students return to school on August 25th and for Open House Thursday, August 20 from
8:30 a.m. until 11:30 p.m.
