A very warm welcome to the community here at St Luke’s where worship has been offered
on this site since 1150 and this building was consecrated in 1792 to provide a new Church
and place of worship for the village of Goostrey. A special welcome to Alphonse and Beglen
Garimae who are visiting from the Solomon Islands.
An induction loop system operates here. If you make use of a hearing aid please switch to
“T” for enhanced sound.

SERVING GOD AND MAMMON
in The Old School Hall, Main Road, Goostrey
at 7.00pm on Thursday, November 22nd
The Revd Ian Godfrey will speak of his experience working for
Barclays Bank and as a non Stipendiary Minister in the London
Diocese.
Ian will also reflect upon and discuss some of the current issues in
the financial world.
Please bring a picnic tea/supper and your own drink and glasses.
Tea and coffee will be provided and everyone is welcome.

the Senior Citizens Lunch, Margaret Kettle will
be celebrating her 90th birthday.
You are warmly invited to come along and
share this special day with Margaret. Please
bring you own drinks/glasses/refreshments.
Margaret does not want any presents, but if
you would wish to, you could contribute to her
chosen Charity The Sir Ian Botham’s Appeal
for Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research.

your messages of congratulations.
