resistance from insect and fungal attack. The
wood also has natural resistance to shrinkage,

q Keep your MANGARIS™ DIAMOND boards clean, dry and
out of direct sunlight before installation.
q Allow at least 12" of air circulation below the decking
structure. This allows adequate airflow.
q We recommend you to finish MANGARIS™ DIAMOND
boards on all sides with oil based preservative with an
ultraviolet inhibitor conducive to tropical hardwoods.
Please finish all four sides for best performance.
q We recommend a minimum of 1/4" spacing between
each 5-1/2" deck board and 3/16" between each 3-1/2"
board; as well as a 1/4" “starter” space between the first
(or last) board and any solid post or structure.
q We recommend pre-drilling pilot holes at 3/4" from the
edges and ends of the boards. Stainless steel fasteners
(face screw from the top) provide the best performance.
q The ends of the deck boards must be waxed with a clear
paraffin finish such as AnchorSeal™
q When installing MANGARIS™ DIAMOND wood decking
as with many other wood products, we recommend
the use of a protective respiratory mask, gloves and eye
protection.
q Keep your MANGARIS™ RED boards clean, dry and out of
direct sunlight before installation.
* Mangaris™ DIAMOND is one of the most durable and
stable decking due to the presence of natural oil (tannin)
that is present in the wood. However, the tannin will cause
the wood to ‘bleed’ when exposed to rain/water. Please
