believed that evil spirits have a more difficult
time distinguishing which one is the bride and
putting a hex on her.
* The practice of giving or exchanging
engagement rings began in 1477 when Roman
Emperor, Maximilian I, gave Mary of
Burgundy a diamond ring as an engagement
present.

In The Spotlight
Tim Smith and Family
Tim and Georgette Smith have been married for 15 years. They have six
children; Jonathan (16), Josh (13), Georgie (11), twins Marli and Maleri (6),
and Timmy (4). The one thing that all of the kids love about their dad the
most is that he’s funny and he’s always there for them whenever they need
him. Timmy and Maleri love riding on their dad’s shoulders. Marli loves that
here dad takes her out to eat and to Grandmas house sometimes. Josh loves
that he goes to all of his football games. Georgie loves that he helps with all
their school projects and takes care of them. Jonathan loves how much he
knows about computers. Tim said the best thing about being a dad is playing
with his kids, being surrounded by people with the same mentality and
watching them grow and learn life’s lessons. Tim has been in the military for
17 years. He will be leaving June 2nd to go on a second tour to Iraq.
Happy Fathers
Day!!!
