How to reach Prague Congress Centre from Hotel Barceló by public

In the “Congress pack” that you will receive on arrival at your hotel (or at the Congress Centre), you will find a ticket
for use on the Public Transport Network in Prague. This ticket is valid for the three days of the Congress (August
25-27). For journeys outside of these dates you will need to buy a ticket that is valid across the network. These cost
24 Czech Koruna (valid for 30min) or 32 Czech Koruna (valid for 90min). It is necessary to validate your ticket just
once (the part that has the arrow printed on it). There are validation machines provided in all forms of transport.
With this same ticket you can use any public form of tranpsort as long as your ticket is valid.

From ‘Na Strži’ bus stop take bus no. 193 (buses
pass every 10-20min from 4.38am to 23.58pm).
Travel as far as ‘Pražského povstání’ (4 stops).
Follow the signs to Metro C (red line). Take
the train travelling in the direction of Letňany
(trains leave every 2-10min, from 4.36am to
0.16am). Get off at Vyšehrad, the first stop.
Leaving the Metro follow the instructions listed in Itinerary A.
From ‘Na Strži’ bus stop take bus no. 118 (buses pass the stop every 6-20min, from 5.05am
to 0.25am).
Travel 2 stops to ‘Budějovická’ Metro station.
Follow the signs to Metro C (red line). Take
the train travelling in the direction of Letňany
(trains leave every 2-10min, from 4.33am to
0.13am) for three stops to Vyšehrad Station.
When you get off the train you need to take the
steps to cross the steps to the underpass (to
the other side of the tracks). When leaving the
Metro Station from this side you will see Prague
Congress Centre in front of you.
For those with a physical disability, or for those
who would like to avoid the steps (there are no
escalators), we advise you to travel to the next
stop on line C, I.P. Pavlova. From here, take the
other train (right in front of you) the one stop to
Vyšehrad. Travelling from this direction you will
avoid all steps. At the Metro Station exit there
is an accessibility ramp to your right. Continue
walking and you will find the Congress Centre in
front of you.
