Brodie “CHIN” Masters
Brodie Masters, more affectionately known these days around braaap as
“chin” is another great braaap story! Chin is a typical 18 yr old bloke, he
had raced big bikes for quite a few years but the cost and super
competitive nature of racing 450’s had taken the fun out of riding for him.
Then one Saturday chin walked into the braaap launceston store. He was
skeptical at first that the braaap wouldn’t carry his bigger framed body
(6ft and 110+ kg) that very day he financed his own braaap pro 125cc!
From that day on chin’s social life, weekend activites and enjoyment in
riding all changed for the better!
Chinny absolutely loved his braaapster and rode it every single weekend,
he would be at the braaap moto track in launceston or out trial riding with
his new mates! Chin’s riding soon improved and when he found out that
braaap was sending a team to the 2008 Mini SX race in Frankston he
couldn’t wait to be a part of it! Chin travelled with the braaap team and a
few other customers to the race and did exceptionally well, proving the
braaapsters strength and performance for such a large guy to race around
such an intense track all day on a stock bike and get a top 5 finish! After
giving his pro hell for 12 months and improving his riding greatly chin
decided it was timeto upgrade to a 150cc braaapster maestro!
Chin was now a regular braaap customer, he had made so many friends
and contacts through the shop and braaap club, it would be very rare to
not hear from him for more than a few days! He was even part of the
crew that went and represented braaap at the mini sx in Las Vegas in
early 2009, he was planning to race but injury kept him sidelines and left
to spectate, which he said was amazing anyways! It’s awesome how
buying a bike from braaap is so much more than just getting a bike, it’s a
lifestyle experience! Chin didn’t just gain a bike that day he walked in
braaap, he gained friends, a hobby and a passion for something he loves!
Chin is proof that size is no limit on a braaapster!
