Tripel Karmeliet
Belgian Tripel 8.4% ABV
From the elegant, distinctive glassware to its shimmering
golden hue Tripel Karmeliet is a beer that finds a place at
every beer lovers table. Novices are drawn to it’s subtle
maltiness and accessibility while experienced beer enthusiasts find layer
upon layer of fully-realized flavor, depth and complexity.
Brewed with three grains (oats, wheat and barley) and moderately
hopped, Tripel Karmeliet is slightly sweet, malty and spicy on the palate,
with tones of coriander and white pepper. On the nose it’s coriander and a
very mild hop resin note mingling with full, fruity nose that fades to a
beautiful honeyish aroma.
Since 1791 the Bosteels family has owned and operated a brewery in
Buggenhout, Belgium. Their flagship and multi-award winning beer is
Tripel Karmeliet.

Pauwel Kwak

To an American beer lover, Kwak is something of a
conundrum. What style is it? What other beers would
you compare it to? What, exactly, IS Kwak?
The long answer is complicated. Kwak is a beer created
by the Brewery Bosteels to be very much unlike anything else on earth.
An undefinable “Belgian-ness” is certainly present. Surely Kwak could
come from no other country, but beyond that parallels with other beers
fall apart.
Kwak is full-bodied and malty, with beautiful, juicy caramel notes. Lightly
hopped, Kwak has just enough bitterness to offset it’s malty sweetness so
the finish is demi-sec and “moreish”. Great with food, fun to drink in it’s
signature glass and approachable, Kwak is the perfect Belgian Ale for any
beer list anywhere.
Since 1791 the Bosteels family has owned and operated a brewery in
Buggenhout, Belgium. Their most unique and distinctive offering is
Pauwel Kwak.

DeuS, Brut Des Flandres
Belgian Special Ale 11.5% ABV
For DeuS, it’s all about time. It takes a minimum of one
year to make. Brewed and fermented in Belgium, DeuS
spends 12 months in the caves of France where the bottles
are aged and conditioned to perfection. Riddling and
dégorgement give DeuS the shimmer and life of a grand
Champagne. For each 12 bottles produced, one is used to
manually fill the bottles to the proper level. Everything
you know about how true Champagne is made is also true
of DeuS, except that it’s a beer and not a wine!
DeuS is sparklingly clear and effervescent with a
beguiling, deep and complex aroma of lavender, pepper,
lemon and mint. On the palate DeuS is light and fleeting,
lively with a lean and restrained malt character and a cascade of herbal
flavors and a dry, crisp elegant finish.
