Super premium fuel pellets start with better
raw material
Rocky Mountain super premium wood fuel pellets utilize
100% single-species, whole-log pine fiber with no additives,
because better fiber makes a better pellet. Our pellets have
a low moisture content and better compression, to burn hot
longer and provide better overall stove performance. With
Rocky Mountain super premium wood fuel pellets, you can
rest assured that you’re heating with consistent, high-performance pellets—burn after burn.
Pellet quality
When choosing fuel pellets, it’s important to understand the quality
of what you’ll burn. Standard pellets are derived from materials
that produce more residual ash—think tree bark or agricultural
residues. Rocky Mountain super premium pellets are produced
from debarked whole-log pine fiber. And Rocky Mountain pellets
can be burned in virtually any pellet burning appliances. (Lowgrade pellets must be used only in appliances designed to burn
high ash content pellets.)

Embracing the environment
Most fuel pellet manufacturers started producing pellets out of
necessity, to eliminate waste. Rocky Mountain Pellet Company
was founded solely to produce the best quality pellet in the industry.
Through our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Walden,
Colorado, we can produce up to 144,000 tons of wood fuel pellets
annually. Rocky Mountain Pellet Company super premium pellets
are found anywhere it gets cold—from Northern California to
Boston—letting you heat your home with the best quality wood fuel
pellet available.
Rocky Mountain Pellet Company chose the Walden, Colorado,
location to help solve the problem of more than 1.5 million acres
of dead lodgepole pine trees. The infestation of Colorado forests
by the mountain pine beetle created a fire hazard for landowners
and impeded the forest regrowth. Rocky Mountain Pellet Company
is committed to restoring this devastated land by using downfall
from dead lodgepole pine trees in its manufacturing process.
