course of seared tuna, salad and a host of

dessert..after dinner enjoy the rousing
entertainment of JJ Chaisson for a good

Artisans on Main Souris is bustling for
September!
A basic watercolour workshop will be held at
Artisans on Main Souris on Saturday,
September 17th, 1pm to 3pm. The workshop
will cover the basic elements of watercolour
painting with an emphasis on composition,
color, and happy accidents. All materials will
be supplied.
Donna White a well-known watercolourist
and member of Artisans on Main will guide
you through the process so you can
complete a piece of art to take home with
you.
She has been painting for over 40 years and
loves to share her watercolour experience
with others. Come join the fun as we play in
the wonderful world of watercolour. Cost:

presentation at the Eastern
Kings Community Centre
on Monday Sept. 12th at
7pm...Their focus is to raise
awareness of diabetes and empower
people affected by living with or at
risk of diabetes in their self
management. There are over 15,000
Islanders living with diabetes. Come
and hear what you need to know
about diabetes. This is a free
presentation and everyone is
welcome.

thirty-five local artisans to create, promote,
and sell high quality handmade products.
Our membership creates a diverse
selection of products, including jewellery,
fibre and textiles, glass, visual arts,
woodwork, and much more. Join us at our
new location at 120 Main Street Souris,
which now features Kim's Coffee Bar and
Creamery. Artisans on Main Souris is open
seven days a week, 10am to 5pm Monday
to Saturday, 12pm to 5pm on Sundays. We
