The Cooking Chef machine is based on the Kenwood Titanium
Major kitchen machine with 1100W induction cooking technology incorporated. It cooks directly in the mixing bowl.
How it works
Soups, Cremes or Risotto
The Kenwood Cooking Chef
makes it easily!
Induction cooking is an advanced cooking method that employs
the principles of electromagnetic induction. When the Cooking
Chef bowl is locked into position the circuit is completed by a
special layer of stainless steel in the bowl base. In turn this
creates a large amount of thermal energy that passes through to
the contents of the bowl, thus heating the food.
Induction cooking is extremely energy efficient because it only
produces heat in the base of the bowl. Other heating methods
such as gas hobs waste almost 50% of the heat energy around
the sides of the pan. The Induction cooking area on your Cooking Chef only feels hot during and immediately after cooking
because of the heat transferred back from the contents of the
bowl. This means that Induction cooking is very efficient, very
safe and very clean.
The temperature measurement
The heat function is only available while mixing. During heating
the temperature LED will pulse on and off. The LED will remain on while the temperature is +/- 5°C of the required setting.
When heating water to a temperature of 100°C, the accuracy is
+/- 5°C.
Ultimate control is possible as the temperature ranges in 2°C
between 20°C to 140°C in the 3L cooking capacity bowl. With
this unique function, the Kenwood Cooking Chef makes light
work of the tricky dishes that require attention and precision in
the kitchen.
