The landscape around Dessau-Woerlitz was designed by Leopold III. Friedrich Franz of Anhalt-Dessau at the
end of the 18th century and altered over the years. We will visit parts of Woerlitz including Georgium,
Kuehnauer Park, Schoenitzer See, Riesigk, Rehsen, Woerlitz-Drehberg, Fliederwall and Park Sieglitzer Berg
along the "Hauptstraße des Gartenreichs" (Main Street of the Garden Ralm). There amongst other things we
will find buildings by Erdmannsdorff.

STUDENT POSTER COMPETITION

16th international conference of information technologies in landscape architecture
June 4 - 6, 2015
You are a landscape architecture student or a recent graduate of a landscape architecture program. You are
already experimenting with how to communicate your work in three dimensions. If you are looking for THE
platform to showcase your work, submit your poster with your best 3D (or 4D) Landscape Architecture work in
A0 size (portrait).
Present the result process and include all information; source(s) of data, details of your team and name of
software program(s) you have used.
Participants with the 5 best posters will give a short presentation in the presence of foremost landscape
architects in Europe on the 6th of June 2015 in Dessau, Germany during the DLA 2015 conference.
The evaluation will be done by the conference participants, and the criteria is:
- Innovation and creativity of project described
- Complexity of project
- Layout and level of communication of poster
The DLA 2015 poster competition will award the following prize money:
A)First prize: 500 €
B)Second prize: 350 €
C)The next three best posters will receive 200 € each.
The five winning posters will be published in DLA 2016 proceedings.
Special discount for registration and accommodation is available for contributo rs of all poster submissions. Students submitting a suitable poster online are invited to attend three days for the fee of
one day.
The DLA poster competition is sponsored by leading CAD and GIS Companies.
