THE PHILOSOPHY
LAX was founded 30 years ago with a
vision and philosophy to create a famous
brand in China. However, our founder, Andy
Wang, knew that to do this, he would need
to convince many people that lax stood for
something greater. He began by insisting that
the company build high-quality products,
and not cheap knockoffs of other brands. he
also realized, that cheap doesn´t have any
real value, and he knew that lax must find its
place in the market, by offering real value for
money. He would keep repeating that lax do
not make cheap products or copies - only

market share. of course, we know there is a
market for cheap products. The world revolves

However, in Professional Audio, cheap
usually means cost cutting by using low-cost
and low-quality components, and inferior
product designs. Most of the manufacturers
don´t care about this, they just want to sell as
many units as possible. They don´t nee brandvalue, they just need to be cheap. If you stop
to look around, you soon realize that many
companies are on a one-way journey that
spirales downword to the lowest possible
price. It´s really quite strange!
At LAX it simply comes donw to this: we care
about the quality, and the customer, and we
conceive, design and proudly make our

We didn´t compromise when we built an
unbelievable large anechoic chamber. Why
did we built it so big? Basically, so we can
accurately measure sound down to 50Hz. It
demonstrates our passion, and shows that
we care about professional audio.
The anechoic chamber houses an ELF robotic
loudspeaker measurements system, for
mission-critical accuracy when performing
balloon measeurements, and creating EASE
data, and precise measurements reports.
We don´t think this is luxury; we believe it is
necessity.
Because we believe that it is better to partner
with experts in their field, rather that trying to
reinvent the wheel to save a few dollars.

The OPERATION T12 is a double 12“ three-way tri-amp line
array speaker designed to cover extremely demanding sound
reinforcement applications, in fixed installations and especially
in tour / rental environments.

and extremely high quality cabinets made from the finest Baltic
birch plywood, the T12 is unquestionably our best three-way

The mid range is handled by 4 x 6.5“ very high output neodymium drivers by
Eighteen Sound in Italy. Featuring an edge-wound 45 mm (1.77“) aluminium
voice coil, they are the platinum standard for high-quality reproduction of the
mid-range.
The low frequency is handled by 2 x 12“ high output woofers with a 75 mm
voice coil, ensuring excellent sensitivity and dispersion.
A specially-designed mid-range phase plug provides tight coherence and coupling across the frequency range.
Carefully positioned high and mid-range drivers provide excellent phase coherency and directivity.
The T12 is designed to operate at very high SPLs, and is fully optimised to work
more efficiently at lower power levels.

The OPERATION T18B-V2 is a dual 18“ subwoofer, designed

Single 10“ Two-Way Bi-Amp Line Array Speaker
The AT110-V2 is a 10“ two-way bi-amp line array speaker
designed to cover a broad range of sound reinforcement
applications, whilst meeting the critical needs of the
professional user.
This Line Array is the perfect conjunction between size and
power. Due to this reason we see it as the most flexible system
in our program. It can be used ground stacked in combination
with the ATL18B, flown with the ATL18B without extra basses
for a classical concert or together with extra basses for bigger
and mid sized rock concerts. Its performance will always fit.
Featuring highest quality drivers made in Italy and a fine baltic
birch plywood housing, it is the best compromise between rock
festivals, Galas and classical concerts. But be sure it is much
more than that!

Single 8“ Two-Way Bi-Amp Line Array Speaker
The AT108ND-V2 is a single 8“ two-way bi-amp line array
speaker designed to cover a broad range of applications, whilst
meeting the critical needs of the professional user.
However, it is the smallest line array system, we offer, despite
the Agila Series.
It offers a great uniformity regarding the mid and high drivers.
Due to its flexibillity and its weight, it can be used also in difficult
or smaller locations where the long throw of a line array system
is needed.
Regarding truck space and the selling price of this system, we
are sure that it represents the best entry into the professional
audio line array market.

Single 15“ Subwoofer with flyware
The AT15B MKII is a single 15“ subwoofer designed to be flown
with the ATEC AT108ND-V2 Line Array System.
It is flexibal due to its size and fly-frame. It can be used as
a ground stack for the AT108ND-V2, which fits perfect even
without a cradle.
To round off that package the AT15B MKII is equipped with
finest components and can be used as a mid extender for the
AT108ND-V2 as well, because of its two different frequency
ranges.

It fits perfect an a pallet and can be transported easy that way.

The WS118B is a single 18“ subwoofer designed to be ground
stacked and used with all LAX line array systems, portable
full-range and installation speakers, especially where extremely
high quality reproduction of low frequency sound is required.
It is the most compact subwoofer with this unbelievable power of 1500W combined with a high efficiency and the lowest
harmonic distortion compared with subwoofers of its kind.
The extreme RCF Speaker inside produces an incredible
pressure meanwhile the WS118B is a light weight and compact
cabinet.
No compromises but extreme advantages due to its size and
flexibility this bass is a real multitool in pro audio.

Dual 8“ Two-Way Active Line Array Speaker
For the powered ATEC series we partnered with one of the
world‘s leading amplifier manufacturers to create a high
powered active line array speaker, using the most efficient
Class D amplifier design and the very latest high-current
Switch-Mode Power Supply technology.
The AT208A is the only active line array system in our range and
features finest speakers and a birch plywood housing.
It is two way powered and offers a built in DSP which can be
accessed by using a network cable and a control pc.
This offers a lot of freedom regarding the chance to control
every single unit in an array and create incredible solutions.

The ATL118BA is meant to be used together with the AT208A
System. The bass can be flown as mid extender or can be used
as ground stack for the AT208A.
Inside this bass cabinet we used the same amplifiers from one
of the world‘s leading amplifier manufacturers to create a high
powered active single 18“ subwoofer using the most
efficient Class D amplifier design and the very latest highcurrent
Switch-Mode Power Supply technology.

The AR12 is a single 12“ two-way bi-amp constant curve array
loudspeaker system, featuring premium drivers designed and
manufactured in Italy, and an extremely high quality enclosure
made from the finest Baltic birch plywood. It is designed to
cover the near field for small to medium sound reinforcement
applications, particularly side and front fill in a ground-stacked
horizontal array. The dissymmetrical 60° vertical dispersion
offers a significant advantage when it is flown in a horizontal
array using the AR12-FK2 flying kit. The AR12 can also be

The U Series is a featurerich range of products,
specifically designed for a diverse and flexible range of
installation applications. You could quite literally use the
U Series anywhere that requires high quality audio for main
or fill speaker duties. The sizes are perfectly suited to any
environment, whilst maintaining a very high sound quality
across the whole series.
We designed the U Series as a cost-effective and
scalable solution, which is both versatile, and practical. The design methodology was to create a range of
speakers, which would allow the system integrator
or consultant to feel highly confident when specifying
U Series, for a multitude of applications, from a conference
room, to a balcony fill speaker.

INSTALLATION SYSTEMS
The OP Horn is a stand-alone loudspeaker system,
designed to meet the specific requirements of large-scale
installations such as arenas and stadiums. The frequency
range is an extended mid to high system, for delivery of
exceptional speech intelligibility and high sound pressure
level over its coverage pattern.
The OP Horn features a waterproof design, and comes in
two versions offering either a 60º x 40º coverage
pattern (OP2112H / 64) or a 90º x 60º coverage pattern
(OP2112H / 96).

The LX range of weather-resistant loudspeakers is designed to be flexible, easy to install, and reliable. With
options covering both indoor and weather-proof outdoor
applications, and both high and low impedance versions,
the Lx range covers a multitude of installation requirements.
Our flexible range of CUE ceiling speakers are designed
to meet the demands of the market, featuring a practical
design, clear sound reproduction, and a 70 / 100V
transformer which allows switching between high and low
impedance operation (CUE26C). The CUE Series ceiling
speakers have an elegant look, and can be flush mounted
to fit unobtrusively into any environment.
