Synopsis
Conflict, genre, irony, symbolism. In
theory, if all of these literary elements came
together, in perfect harmony, you would have
‘The Greatest Play Ever Written’. In Wade
Bradford’s play, an ambitious narrator attempts
to do just that. Yet, no matter how brilliant a
play might be, you can’t please everyone. When
a critic in the audience becomes bored, he
threatens to give the play a negative review,
unless of course the playwright agrees to revise
the play...and kill the narrator!

Staff Biographies
Kevin Reagan (Director) BA in
Drama, Washington College. Mr. Reagan
teaches all of the Drama courses here at
Kent Island High School, including Intro
to Theatre, Actor’s Studio, Directing, and
Play Production. The Greatest Play Ever
Written marks his 13th production at Kent Island.
Jennifer Butler graduated Magna Cum
Laude with a BA in education and a BS in
mathematics from Fairmont State
University. Throughout college, she was
active in the music and theater departments, singing in various ensembles and appearing in
local productions. Since graduating from college she has
obtained her teaching certification in K-12 music and
was a choir director at Stevensville Middle School for
three years. This is Mrs. Butler’s 8th production here at
Kent Island High School.
