Engine
The Nissan Murano features a 3.5 litre V6 engine that delivers 191kW of
power and 336Nm of torque for impressive acceleration whenever you need it.
While powerful, the engine is also quiet, adding to your driving enjoyment.
At the same time the engine’s excellent fuel efficiency means plenty of time
between visits to the petrol station.
Speed-sensing steering
The hydraulic power steering changes the feeling of the steering dependent
on your speed. The result is a lighter touch for easy parking and when travelling
at higher speeds than parking, it creates a more direct, confident experience.
Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT)
Forget 5, 6 or 7 gears, CVT offers a virtually infinite number. So instead of
feeling the gear changes, you will experience smooth acceleration as you
reach your desired speed.
Intelligent Key and push button ignition start
No more fumbling for keys. The Intelligent Key stays in your pocket or bag

To maximise fuel economy the Nissan Murano
normally runs in 2WD, but if the vehicle senses it
is slipping, it will automatically change to 4WD to
improve traction. And, if you prefer, you can lock
the vehicle into 4WD at the push of a button.
Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC)
A safety system to help keep you on your intended
path, VDC senses if your vehicle starts to lose grip
on the road. To help you maintain control, engine
power is reduced or braking power applied to
specific wheels.
Traction Control System (TCS)
Sensing when a front wheel is spinning, TCS
responds by reducing throttle or applying brake
pressure to help improve traction.
BRAKE ASSIST (BA) & ELECTRONIC
BRAKEFORCE DISTRIBUTION (EBD)
More than “just stopping”, Brake Assist senses
emergency braking and automatically helps to
apply maximum braking pressure if needed. Then,
Electronic Brakeforce Distribution sends extra
force to the rear brakes when it senses additional
weight in the back.
Anti-lock Braking System (ABS)
In an event of an emergency situation, ABS will
moderate the brakes to help the driver maintain
stability and steering control as well as preventing
