FAQ’s
FAQ’s
Can my friends come and visit?
Absolutely! But please make sure you let us know at check-in. Guests must pay a guest fee and the total
number of people per site cannot exceed six. Cost for visitors (ages 2-64) is $10/day on weekdays and $15/
day on weekends during our shoulder season. Cost is $15/day daily during our peak season (6/10-9/5). Kids
under 2 are free and seniors 65+ are 50% off. Guests visiting a camper between 5-10pm are 50% off.
Do you have quiet hours?
We do! Quiet hours are from 11pm to 7am. Anyone under 18 years of age must be at their site or cabin
during these hours, unless accompanied by an adult.
Are pets allowed?
Pets are allowed at campsites and designated pet-friendly cabins, but not at our playgrounds, restrooms,
pools, mini golf or other buildings. Please keep your pet on a leash and never unattended. Please also
clean up after your pet.
Are alcoholic beverages allowed?
Yes, they may be consumed at your campsite and are permitted at the pool, but not in glass containers. When
carrying alcoholic beverages around, they need to be in a koozie or plastic cup. This is a family park, so please
be considerate of others and refrain from loud and unseemly language.
Trash
Curbside trash pick up is from 10am to 11am daily.
Laundry
Washers and dryers are located beside Arcade Alley and in the center of the main comfort station.
Available 24 hours a day.
Are campfires allowed?
You bet! Please confine them to designated areas and do not leave them unattended. Firewood may not
be brought into the park from an external location as it can spread bugs and pests to our beautiful trees
here. Firewood is available for purchase at our Camp Store.
Dishwashing
Sinks for dishwashing are located on the outside of both bathhouses. Please use these sinks instead
of the fresh water spigots.
Are golf carts, motorized scooters, and ATVs allowed in the park?
For liability reasons, guests are not permitted to bring any personal motorized vehicles into Jellystone Park™.
Recycling
Recycling is available!
Are fireworks allowed?
No, you are not allowed to bring fireworks to Jellystone Park™. Keep in mind, we’ll be putting on a live
fireworks show for you on Sunday, July 3!
Do we need a gasket to secure our sewer hose?
Virginia state law requires that the lower end of the sewer hose be secured by a gasket to prevent odor
and leakage. If you are going to leave your hose in the sewer connection, you must have a gasket.
These can be purchased at the Camp Store.
Propane
We have propane available for fill-ups.
Can we cut down trees for firewood?
Trees – both living and dead – may not be cut down or damaged in any way. There will be a $200 per tree
fine if damage occurs.
Will I get cell phone service?
There is a cell tower nearby the campground that services AT&T and Sprint customers. Verizon and
T-Mobile users may have difficulty.
See website for additional details about our park!
