Dyesol will ship your order within 10 days of receipt of payment and aims to dispatch goods immediately upon receipt
of your purchase order. If goods are not in stock, Dyesol will
contact you with the expected shipment date.
TAXES

After drying, this paste must be fired at or above 420°C.

K19 DYE
The C106 Hydrophobic Dye is comprised of a thioether
functionalised thiophenyl bipyridine providing a greater Pi
conjugation with respect to C101 which enhances its optical absorption. The hydrophobic nature of the moiety also
increases donor property to the metallic centre and provides steric hindrance to minimise dye stacking, packing
and agglomeration behaviour thus increasing the overall
device performance.
The K19 Hydrophobic Dye is comprised of an alkoxy functionalised styryl bipyridine providing a greater Pi conjugation which enhances its optical absorption. The hydrophobic nature of the moiety also increases donor property to

N719 INDUSTRY STANDARD DYE
N749 BLACK DYE
Dyesol’s N719 Industry Standard Dye is a modification of
the N3 Foundation Dye with changes that increase cell voltage. It is the most common high performance dye, often
called the industry’s “workhorse dye”. N719 Industry
Standard Dye is more soluble than N3 Foundation Dye in
polar solvents. Like all Dyesol dyes, Dyesol’s N719 Industry
Standard Dye offers guaranteed performance, high reproducibility, stable/consistent results, and is of the highest

Dyesol’s N749 Black Dye is designed for the widest range

Dyesol offers bipyridine- and terpyridine-based ligands for the
synthesis of ruthenium-based dyes and general metalloorganic complexes.
Bipyridine and terpyridine ligands are fundamental building
blocks for the manufacture of ruthenium-based dyes. They are
the binding ligands used to attached the dye to the titantium
dioxide. Dyesol also offers a variety of ligands for additional
research purposes.
C101 LIGAND
The C101 ligand is a hydrophobic ligand comprised an alkylated thiophene moity extending the p-conjugation functionalities providing greater Pi conjugation to enhance its
optical absorption propensity.
The presence of the alkyl chain also provides an increase in
lypophilic character when used in metal complexes.

Dyesol’s EL-HPE High Performance Electrolyte is a low viscosity, high ionic conductivity liquid electrolyte and therefor
provides highest performance.
EL-HTE High Temperature Electrolyte is particularly suitable for flexible DSC, where transparent flexible substrates
do not offer the same hermetic barrier properties such as
glass or metal substrates.
Due to the low boiling point of the main solvent and the
chemistry of the electrolyte mixture, EL-HPE will not provide
best long term stability under standard solar conditions and/
or under elevated temperature testing.
EL-HTE High Temperature Electrolyte has a lower vapour
pressure than EL-HSE High Stability Electrolyte but is otherwise chemically very similar.

The chemical and physical properties of soda-lime glass

series connection, in conjunction with Dyesol’s Two Part
Neutral Assembly Polymer, as part of the primary sealing
component in Dye Solar Cell prototype tiles.
SPECIFICATIONS
The formulation utilises tungsten metal to achieve conductivity and the cured material exhibits excellent chemical stability. Curing will occur at 50°C with accelerated curing
times achieved with temperatures up to 80°C.

Use to seal electrolyte fill holes in Dye Solar Cells for short
to medium term testing and/or primary sealing fill holes in
sealing systems. Dyesol’s Aluminium Laminated Thermoplastic is a DuPontTM Bynel® functionalised LLDPE resin
film laminated to thin aluminium sheet to form a flexible free
-standing film.
Use Dyesol’s High Temperature Thermoplastic Sealant to
seal Dye Solar Cells where a higher softening temperature
are needed for devices required to endure higher temperatures. Dyesol’s High Temperature Thermoplastic Sealant is
a DuPontTM Bynel® functionalised LLDPE resin, extruded
to form a transparent and flexible free-standing film with
uniform thickness and is chemically stable with good mechanical properties.
Chemically stable with good mechanical properties, the
Bynel provides a chemical barrier and bond, while the aluminium provides an external mechanical barrier allowing
ease of application and an improved hermetic seal.

Dyesol’s Two Part Hermetic Sealing Compound provides a
semi-rigid seal for hermetic enclosure of Dye Solar Cells.
It cures at room temperature.
Use Dyesol’s Two Part Hermetic Sealing Compound to create a secondary hermetic seal and provide improved mechanical properties in sealing systems for both DSC test
cells and tiles.

POLYMER
Dyesol’s Two Part Neutral Assembly Polymer is a white,
flexible neutral curing sealant optimised for primary sealing
of Dye Solar Cells and prototype tiles. The formulation includes 45μm glass beads giving an overall cured cell gap of
50μm. Curing will occur at 50°C with accelerated curing
times achieved with temperatures up to 80°C.
