backdrop to the romances of several
famous people, including Victor
Hugo and Juliette Drouet, Honoré de
Balzac and Eve Hanska, Goethe and
Frédérique Brion...
Straßburg mit seinem
bemerkenswerten UNESCO-Kulturerbe,
seinen Fachwerkhäusern, malerischen
Gassen und kleinen Plätzen, Kanälen
und Brücken gehört ohne Zweifel
zu den romantischsten Städten
Frankreichs…
Durch alle Epochen hindurch hat es
die Besucher magisch angezogen und
war Schauplatz der Liebesgeschichten
zahlreicher berühmter Persönlichkeiten:
Victor Hugo und Juliette Drouet, Honoré
de Balzac und Ewelina Hanska, Goethe
und Friederike Brion…
In 2013, the Tourist Office and the
City of Strasbourg created the event
“Strasbourg mon Amour” from an
original concept based on Valentine’s
Day.
Elle a attiré les visiteurs à toutes les époques et abrité les idylles de
nombreux personnages célèbres : Victor Hugo et Juliette Drouet,
Honoré de Balzac et Eve Hanska, Goethe et Frédérique Brion…
The first edition of the event was a real
success, so the planners have decided
to have it again and make it even
bigger.
En 2013, l’Office de Tourisme et la Ville de Strasbourg ont
créé l’événement en développant un concept original autour
de la Saint-Valentin : “Strasbourg, mon Amour”.

Alsatian and European capital will
celebrate lovers through a variety of
unique events, including the grand
opening in partnership with the
Opéra national du Rhin, dinner events
with the Etoiles d’Alsace (Stars of
Alsace), the “Bridge of Sighs”, a lovers’
guinguette, the possibility to bathe in
the moonlight, a deliciously retro Slow
Dance Party...
Après le succès de la première édition, les organisateurs ont décidé
de reconduire et d’amplifier l’opération.
Dix jours durant, du 7 au 16 février 2014, la capitale alsacienne
et européenne fêtera les amoureux au travers de temps forts
d’exception : grande soirée inaugurale en partenariat avec l’Opéra
national du Rhin, dîners-événements avec les Etoiles d’Alsace,
“Pont des soupirs”, guinguette amoureuse, baignade au clair de lune,
“slow party” délicieusement régressive, visites guidées sur les pas
d’amoureux célèbres…
Des offres exceptionnelles pour les amoureux seront proposées par
les hôteliers et restaurateurs.
Et bien d’autres propositions complètent ce programme...

2013 sorgten das Fremdenverkehrsamt
und die Stadt Straßburg mit einem
originellen Konzept rund um den
Valentinstag für Schlagzeilen:
„Strasbourg, mon amour“.
Nach dem großen Erfolg der
ersten Ausgabe entschieden die
Organisatoren, die Veranstaltung 2014
in erweiterter Form neu aufzulegen.
An zehn Tagen, vom 7. bis zum 16.
Februar 2014, feiert die Hauptstadt
des Elsass und Europas alle Verliebten
mit einem einmaligen Angebot: großer
Eröffnungsabend in Zusammenarbeit
mit der Opéra national du Rhin, EventDinner mit den Spitzenköchen von
„Etoiles d’Alsace“, „Seufzerbrücke“,
Tanzabend für Verliebte mit
Guinguette-Stimmung, Badevergnügen
im Mondschein, nostalgische „SlowParty“…
Spezielle Angebote für Verliebte in
Straßburger Hotels und Restaurants
runden das Programm des Events ab.
Aber natürlich hat „Strasbourg, mon
amour“ noch viel mehr zu bieten…

- L’ÉDITION 2014 Une nouvelle fois, toute la ville se mettra au diapason pour proposer
des moments d’exception, tout à la fois poétiques, culturels,
gastronomiques, glamour… ou décalés.
Ce deuxième opus, qui s’étendra sur dix jours
(contre quatre en 2013), reprendra quelques-uns des rendez-vous
phares de la première édition mais proposera également
de multiples nouveautés.

pace and propose unique experiences
- all at the same time poetic, cultural,
gastronomic and glamorous...
This second opus, which will last for
ten days (it was just four in 2013), will
include some of the highlights from
the first edition, but will also offer
numerous novelties.
Die Ausgabe 2014
Erneut stimmt sich die ganze Stadt
auf die Liebe ein, um allen Verliebten
originelle, poetische, kulturelle,
kulinarische, glamouröse… – einfach
andere Valentinstage zu bescheren.
Die zweite, zehntägige Ausgabe des
Events (2013 dauerte es vier Tage)
greift einige der Highlights der ersten
Ausgabe wieder auf, aber auf dem
Programm stehen auch zahlreiche
neue Events.

à Clotilde Courau… Entre elle et l’icône
de la chanson française disparue il
y a cinquante ans, c’est un rendezvous permanent. S’inspirant de la
correspondance amoureuse de
la chanteuse, écrite à un moment
particulièrement difficile de sa vie, la
comédienne en donne une interprétation
tout en sensibilité et poésie. Edith Piaf
s’y révèle telle qu’elle est, une grande
amoureuse, portée par une foi et une force
incroyables. Son message : l’amour est
plus fort que tout…

life, the French actress Clotilde Courau
interprets these with great sensitivity and

Poesie interpretiert Clotilde Courau, eine
berühmte französische Schauspielerin, die
Liebesbriefe von Edith Piaf, die diese in
einem ganz besonders schweren Moment
ihres Lebens schrieb. In ihnen zeigt sich
die Ikone des französischen Chanson, wie
sie wirklich ist – eine wahrhaft Verliebte,
mit einem unbändigen Glauben und
von unglaublicher innerer Stärke. Ihre
Botschaft: Die Liebe ist stärker als alle

AN EVENING SPENT ON A LOVE THEME IN THE MUSEUMS’
COLLECTIONS
Filial, conjugal, fraternal, adulterous or romantic love... Every
facet of love will permeate the museums’ rooms during a
night-time spent in homage to this eternal gift. The Palais
Rohan and the Œuvre Notre-Dame Museum will come to life
with the voices of actors reading literary texts evoking love
in all its forms. And, in honour of the “News from the Eastern
Front!” exhibition appearing at the Archaeological Museum,
the voices of French WWI soldiers will be heard once more
through readings of letters which they sent from the front to
their wives, mothers, sisters and friends.
Love will also be expressed through music: at the Œuvre
Notre-Dame Museum, musicians will celebrate courtly love,
and, in Salle du Synode, the “Nouvelle Vague” group will
perform new wave classics, bossa nova style.
During the evening, the prize draw will take place for the
“My Beloved” contest (see “Map of Tendre”). Thanks to the
many prizes, the lucky winners will be able to discover the
museums’ collections even further.

formes. En écho à l’exposition présentée
au Musée Archéologique, « À l’est du
nouveau ! », les Poilus de la Grande guerre
reprendront vie à travers la lecture des
lettres qu’ils envoyèrent du front à leurs
épouses, mères, sœurs et amis.
L’amour sera aussi mis en musique :
au Musée de l’Oeuvre Notre-Dame, des
musiciens célébreront l’amour courtois,
et, dans la salle du Synode, le groupe
« Nouvelle Vague » interprétera les
classiques de la new wave en version
bossa nova.
Au cours de la soirée aura également
lieu le tirage au sort du jeu-concours
« L’élu(e) de mon cœur » (voir la « Carte
du Tendre »). De nombreux lots à

ist eine Hommage an alle Spielarten dieses ewigsten
aller Gefühle. Das Palais Rohan und das Museum Oeuvre
Notre-Dame sind Schauplatz einer sentimentalen Lesung,
bei der Schauspieler literarische Texte zur Liebe in allen
ihren Erscheinungsformen vortragen. Als Nachklang zu
der Ausstellung „Neue Kriegsfunde in Ostfrankreich!“
werden außerdem im Archäologischen Museum Briefe von
Frontsoldaten an ihre Ehefrauen, Mütter, Schwestern und
Freunde zu neuem Leben erweckt. Aber auch als klingende
Musik kann die Liebe zum Kunstgenuss werden: Im Museum
Oeuvre de Notre-Dame feiern Musikanten die höfische Liebe,
während im Saal der Synode die Gruppe „Nouvelle Vague“
die Klassiker des New Wave in einer Bossa-Nova-Version zum
Besten gibt.
Im Laufe des Abends findet außerdem die Verlosung des
