L
a “Cova cucine srl”, attiva nella produzione di arredamento per cucine, vanta oltre
190 anni di storia d’impresa. Il signor Giuseppe Cova, nato l’8 gennaio 1796, fu il
pioniere nell’attività di falegnameria; ne costituisce prova il premio rilasciato alla “Cova
F.lli” dalla Camera di Commercio di Trento nel 1961, che fa risalire le origini dell’attività
allo stesso Giuseppe.
Battista, figlio di Giuseppe, nato il 13 gennaio 1837 proseguì l’attività paterna,
trasmettendo la passione ed il bagaglio di conoscenze maturate nel corso del tempo al
figlio Enrico, nato il 14 luglio 1877.
I documenti storici in nostro possesso mostrano lo svolgimento da parte di quest’ultimo
dell’attività di apprendista falegname per due anni consecutivi (3 aprile 1894 – 3 aprile
1896) presso un maestro falegname, Eligio Frenez, di Mezzolombardo. La passione ed
il talento nella progettazione e realizzazione di mobili, accompagnarono Enrico durante
tutta la sua vita.
Ne costituisce testimonianza la partecipazione alla “Esposizione permanente d’arte
industriale” di Firenze nel marzo 1923, conclusasi con l’acquisizione di un diploma di
medaglia d’oro “per speciali lavori di ebanisteria presentati e per il valido contributo
recato all’opera nostra per il miglioramento Artistico Industriale Nazionale”.
I figli di Enrico ampliarono ulteriormente la produzione di mobili, costituendo una
piccola ditta denominata “Cova F.lli”, la quale nel 1974 venne rilevata da uno dei fratelli,
Vittorio, che rimase unico titolare. Vittorio, nel proseguire l’attività di produzione di
mobili, si specializzò nel comparto degli arredamenti per cucina.
Nel 1985, con l’entrata in società dei figli di Vittorio (Walter, Paolo e Alberto) la
società assunse la denominazione di “Cova cucine componibili snc”, trasformatasi
successivamente per esigenze di carattere strutturale in “Cova cucine srl”, che
costituisce l’attuale ragione sociale della società.

roduciamo cucine da cinquant’anni con lo stesso impegno e passione dei maestri
falegnami che hanno fatto la storia della nostra famiglia. Costruire cucine vuol dire
lavorare con materiali molto diversi tra loro come il legno, l’acciaio, l’alluminio, il vetro e
i più recenti composti sintetici. L’esperienza e una progettazione puntuale e meticolosa,
permettono al nostro prodotto di raggiungere standard qualitativi non abituali, per un
consumatore attento alla funzionalità e qualità più elevata.

materials, as wood; steel; aluminum; glass and the more recent synthetic compounds. The experience,

who is careful about functionality and higher quality.

TECNOLOGIE E MATERIALI
T
ecnologie e impianti all’avanguardia ci permettono di essere un’azienda dinamica ed
efficente, in grado di venire incontro all’evolversi dei diversi stili di vita e alle nuove
esigenze funzionali dello stare in cucina.
I pannelli utilizzati nei prodotti di Cova Cucine sono al 100% ecologici
(certificati FSC “100% recycled”).
Utilizzano infatti materiale proveniente totalmente da legno recuperato e riciclato. Il
materiale è selezionato accuratamente e viene trattato con processi a basso impatto
ambientale, anche i collanti utilizzati sono a basso contenuto di formaldeide. Tutti i
pannelli godono inoltre della certificazione di qualità UNI EN ISO 9001.
Tutti i manufatti sono verniciati con vernici poliuretaniche bicomponenti all’acqua.
Tali vernici sono il risultato del progetto LIFE di innovazione tecnologica che è stato
finanziato dalla Commissione Europea per il suo rilevante carattere di protezione
ambientale.
All’interno dell’azienda vige anche una avanzata gestione dei rifiuti e degli scarti di
produzione, tutto è organizzato attraverso una raccolta differenziata che permette il
recupero e il riciclo dei materiali.
L’energia utilizzata è prodotta per la quasi totalità dall’impianto fotovoltaico posizionato
sul tetto della fabbrica.
Attraverso questi accorgimenti l’azienda vuole impegnarsi in modo concreto per ridurre
l’impatto sull’ambiente e sul territorio che la accoglie.
