In Milan e15 celebrates the debut of e15 lighting, a progressive lighting collection of
strikingly simple lights consistent with the brand’s artistic point of view. Consisting of
five distinct lighting families, the lights bridge between residential and contract
applications featuring enduring design with innovative quality construction, energy
efficient LED technology and sufficient light output.
E15 also showcases three unique products by German designer Jörg Schellmann and a
collection of elegant and functional accessories with character for dining and living in
premium materials.
After its premiere at Cologne, the e15 accessory collection will be presented internationally for the first time, featuring enduring design in combination with high grade
materials and innovative, handcraft production methods.

E15 LIGHTING
With diverse lighting requirements in mind, a range of floor, table, pendant and wall
lights in pure materials and colours elegantly define a comprehensive collection
featuring e15 lighting. Five lighting families designed by internationally renowned
designers Daniel Rybakken and Andreas Engesvik, Mark Holmes, Eva Marguerre and
Marcel Besau as well as Michael Raasch reflect e15’s brand ethos of high grade
materials paired with extraordinary craftsmanship.

Emitting beautiful atmospheric light NORTH is an expressive floor, table, pendant and
wall light with distinct underlying simplicity, designed by Hamburg-based design duo
Eva Marguerre and Marcel Besau. Minimalism, theatricality and architecture illustrate
the essence of COLOUR by Norwegian designers Daniel Rybakken and Andreas
Engesvik. In its refined simplicity free of conventional aesthetics, the light COLOUR
expands the field of sculpture and light. With sculptural structure and accurate folds the
SEAM light series by Mark Holmes follows the principle of reduced components and
focuses on the element of light itself. SEAM is made of firmly bonded, folded sheet
aluminium, available as a floor, table and wall light. By German designer Michael
Raasch, the light PALO elegantly offers smart solutions for floor, table or bed side
reading. The slim light diffuser in cylindrical form simply slides onto the linear stand. The
visible cord lends a casual and dynamic edge to the precise form of PALO while
accommodating individual positioning for down lighting at desired points. An optional
marble foot adds a luxurious touch. Simplicity is the allure and strength of the SPAN
pendant light, also designed by Michael Raasch. Balanced from two suspension points,
the unique X-shaped extruded aluminium section is made exclusively for e15 and
incorporates a diffuser. SPAN radiates plentiful light suitable for dining or working
environments.
NEW RELEASES FOR E15
BY JÖRG SCHELLMANN
E15 introduces three distinct products, PLATZ, SITZ and PROFIL by German designer
Jörg Schellmann. Solid wood table PLATZ and bench SITZ complement e15’s range of
working and dining solutions. A diagonal bar dominates the form and character of
PLATZ and SITZ whilst guaranteeing high stability and formal distinctness. With
PROFIL e15 presents a shelf with sculptural appeal that offers elegant storage and
display possibilities, evoking associations with minimal art. Open for individual colour
and composition, the aluminium shelf PROFIL is produced in one piece by way of
extrusion; a process used to create objects of a fixed cross-sectional profile, forming
finished parts with excellent surface finish.

E15 ACCESSORY COLLECTION
With the introduction of the e15 accessory collection designed by architect Philipp
Mainzer and designers Mark Braun and Jan Philip Holler, e15 showcases elegant,
everyday products with character made with premium materials for living, dining and
working. In their refined simplicity, a series of cutting boards, trays and bowls made
of hand finished solid wood and marble conveys e15’s distinct design aesthetic. Book
ends from fine Italian marble, tray dividers and architectural paper weight houses from
solid brass, European walnut and oak luxuriously structure the perfect clean desk or
serve as intriguing objects in open use context. Blankets in vibrant colours, hand spun
in wool, or linen enrich the collection. For accessory cushions, in addition to e15’s
signature Scottish Tartans and comprehensive palette selected by art director Farah
Ebrahimi, BRASILIA a new fabric exclusively made for e15 features a modernist mix
of colours woven into classic tweed, highlighting the brand’s progressive point of view
grounded in established traditions.

EXHIBITION DESIGN BY PHILIPP MAINZER
At Salone del Mobile 2014, e15 showcases an exhibition design by PHILIPP MAINZER
OFFICE FOR ARCHITECTURE AND DESIGN. The brand’s debut of the lighting
collection along with its furniture and accessories collections are structured into
individual settings. Pale grey walls and a partial roof impart an expressive, modernist
nature to the stand. Unfolding from the centre, the exhibition showcases products in
interlocking rooms and intriguing architectural viewpoints, at once accentuating the
modern aesthetic of the brand set against the pale grey walls and raw concrete floor.
Informative graphics in white lend an open and informal character to the presentation.

The light SEAM ONE is a modern interpretation of a classic table light. Made of three
firmly bonded components of powder-coated, folded sheet aluminium, the number of
parts has been reduced to the essentials to provide the strongest focus on the element
of light itself. Applying simple but elaborated construction methods and balanced
proportions, the light reflects e15’s brand ethos of high grade materials paired with
extraordinary craftsmanship.

With its inherent sculptural quality and accurate folds the light SEAM TWO is an
identifying icon for e15. Applying simple but elaborated construction methods and
balanced proportions, SEAM TWO follows Mark Holmes’ principle of reduced components and focuses on the element of light itself. Available in two sizes and a range of
original colours, SEAM TWO is made of firmly bonded laser cut folded sheet aluminium. As part of E15 SELECTED, SEAM TWO is also available in solid polished copper,
notably underlining its refined materiality.

Linear simplicity and proportion is the appeal of the wall light SEAM THREE. Made of
folded aluminium components SEAM THREE elegantly illuminates the wall up- and
downward, dispensing atmospheric light. Complementing SEAM TWO table and floor
light, SEAM THREE allows this series of lights to be applied in commercial environments such as restaurants and hotels. The SEAM light series by Mark Holmes reflect
e15’s brand ethos of high grade materials paired with extraordinary craftsmanship.

Minimalism, theatricality and architecture illustrate the essence of COLOUR by
Norwegian designers Daniel Rybakken and Andreas Engesvik. In its refined simplicity
free of conventional aesthetics, the light COLOUR expands the field of sculpture and
light. Open to individual compositions and leant against the wall, COLOUR consists of
two slabs of coloured glass in pink and blue in combination with a circular form light
diffuser in white. Inspired by natural changing light sceneries, COLOUR emits
beautiful atmospheric light.

Generating an intriguing display of light and form NORTH is an expressive light with
distinct underlying simplicity. Designed by Hamburg-based design duo Eva Marguerre
and Marcel Besau, NORTH playfully signifies abstract geometry or lunar phases,
changing its appearance depending on the viewer’s perspective. Reduced to a core
circular shape as a singular impressive light or dramatically assembled in a group,
combining multiple lights of different sizes and colours, NORTH provides boundless
solutions for private and public spaces. NORTH is made from brushed copper or
powder coated steel in signal white and sulfur yellow.

PALO is an innovative and flexible floor light suitable for reading and lounging. The slim
light diffuser in cylindrical form simply slides onto the linear stand. The visible cord
lends a casual and dynamic edge to the precise form of PALO while accommodating
individual positioning for down lighting at desired points. An optional solid oiled marble
base in white Carrara and black Marquina elegantly enhances the purity of the clear
and defined forms of this light. PALO is made from steel and powder coated aluminium, available in signal white and jet black.

Simplicity is the allure and strength of the SPAN pendant light. Balanced from only
two suspension points, the unique X-shaped extruded aluminium section in lengths of
up to 3000 mm is engineered to provide extra structural strength and accommodates
light sources for down and up light. SPAN radiates plentiful light suitable for dining or
working environments. The wings of the X-shaped SPAN efficiently direct light to the
table top as well as producing subtle ambient light for the ceiling, avoiding any glare.
SPAN is available in signal white and jet black.

TABLE PLATZ TA21, 2012
With clear, composed form the design of the table PLATZ is rooted in the aesthetics
of traditional work tables: A distinct diagonal bar guarantees high stability and
underlines an informal work approach. The PLATZ table is made of solid European oak
and is available in seven lengths and three heights with optional drawers, further
allowing for diverse applications in a work or dining context. The frame is mortised
with visible solid wood dowels, emphasising the construction detail and wood surface
of the table.
BENCH SITZ BE05, 2013
Table Platz
Bench SITZ reflects the design language of table PLATZ and is a natural complement.
The signature diagonal bar dominates the character of the solid wood bench, highlighting the casual and stable construction. The frame is mortised with visible solid wood
dowels, emphasising the construction detail and wood surface of the bench. Its
asymmetric detail and distinct character make SITZ a noteworthy and versatile piece.
The bench SITZ is available in seven lengths.
SHELF PROFIL SH06, 2012
Evoking associations with minimal art, the wall-mounted shelf PROFIL by Jörg
Schellmann bears a distinct sculptural appeal. The aluminium shelf is produced in one
piece by way of extrusion; a process used to create objects of a continuous cross-sectional profile, forming finished parts with excellent surface quality. Powder-coated in
signal white, traffic grey, umbra grey or sulfur yellow and optionally available with or
without side panels. PROFIL offers multiple colour and composition solutions and is
available in two lengths.

CUADRO is a sensuous blanket hand-woven of pure ecological merino wool. Spun of
a pale grey base it is combined with bright yellow, pink or blue yarn creating the
structure of a gradient check pattern. The changing pattern, becoming wider from
centre to margin, makes CUADRO a versatile piece with various looks depending on
how it is folded.

Blanket Cuadro
The blanket ESTIVA is woven of finest Belgian linen blend. Its lightness and surface
make it ideal for spring and summer time. Available in the colours emerald, coral and
sapphire, ESTIVA evokes associations with the gentle, yet colourful and noble
landscapes of the Amalfi coast. The blanket’s structure is based on a simple basket
weave while its lush fringes draw special attention.
