er neue Mercedes-Maybach repräsentiert die absolute Spitze des modernen
Automobilbaus. Dennoch bleibt auch bei dieser Luxuslimousine Raum für individuelle Veredelung, die wir von BRABUS mit einem ausgesuchten Team der besten
Ingenieure, Designer, Techniker und Handwerker verwirklichen.

Mit seinem 390 kW / 530 PS starken Zwölfzylinder-Biturbo-Triebwerk ist der
Maybach S 600 schon ab Werk kräftig motorisiert. Mit dem BRABUS ROCKET
900 6.3 V12 Biturbo Hubraummotor erreicht der Luxusliner aber ein Leistungsniveau, das bisher für die stärksten Supersportwagen der Welt reserviert war.
Auf der Einlassseite ist auf den ersten Blick das aus Carbon gefertigte BRABUS
Ansaugmodul 900 zu erkennen, das über eine Luftführung in der Motorhaube
direkt vom Kühlergrill aus beatmet wird. Der neue Ansaugtrakt umfasst auch ein
spezielles Luftfiltergehäuse mit vergrößertem Ansaugquerschnitt und Spezialfiltern sowie eine „Gold Heat Reflection“ Beschichtung der Saugrohre zur Temperatursenkung.
Dazu wird im hauseigenen Hightech-Motorenbau das bewährte Prinzip der Hubraumerhöhung – in diesem Fall von serienmäßigen 6,0 auf 6,3 Liter – angewandt.
Zusätzlich wird die Triebwerksperipherie mit größeren Turboladern, Metallkataly-

Erfüllung der strengen EURO VI Abgasnorm.

T
he new Mercedes-Maybach represents the absolute pinnacle of state-of-theart automotive engineering. Nonetheless, even this luxury sedan offers room for
individual refinement, which we from BRABUS realize with a select team of the
best engineers, designers, technicians and master craftsmen.
The Maybach S 600 comes off the factory line with a 12-cylinder twin-turbo
engine rated at 390 kW / 530 HP (523 bhp) and is thus anything but underpowered. However, powered by the BRABUS ROCKET 900 6.3 V12 twin-turbo
increased-displacement engine, the luxury liner attains a performance level
previously the exclusive domain of the world’s most powerful super sports cars.
To this end, the company high-tech engine shop employs the tried and proven
principle of increasing the engine’s displacement, in this case from 6.0 to 6.3
liters (366 to 384 cubic inches). In addition, the engine peripherals are reengineered with larger turbochargers, metal catalysts and a BRABUS stainless-steel
high-performance exhaust system with actively controlled butterfly valve.
On the intake side, the immediately recognizable feature is the carbon fiber
BRABUS 900 intake module, which draws its air through an air duct in the hood
directly from the radiator grille. The new intake manifold includes a special air
filter housing with larger cross-section and special filters as well as “Gold Heat
Reflection” sheathing for lowering the temperature.
Newly programmed mapping for injection, boost pressure control and ignition
not only guarantee maximum power delivery, but also compliance with the strict
EURO VI emissions standards.

Nach dem Umbau produziert das V12-Triebwerk, das exklusiv mit Hightech-Motoröl von MOTUL betrieben wird, eine Maximalleistung von 662 kW / 900 PS bei nur
5.500 U/min. Ebenso gigantisch ist das maximale Drehmoment von 1.500 Nm bei
4.200 Touren.
Trotz über 2,8 Tonnen zulässigem Gesamtgewicht erreicht das BRABUS Supercar Fahrleistungen wie sie sonst nur von wenigen reinrassigen Supersportwagen
erzielt werden: Mit BRABUS ROCKET 900 6.3 V12 Biturbo Antrieb beschleunigt
der Viersitzer in nur 3,7 Sekunden von 0 – 100 km/h. Die Höchstgeschwindigkeit
liegt bei über 350 km/h.
Die Personalisierung des Interieurs ist eine weitere Spezialität unseres Unternehmens. In der hauseigenen Sattlerei entstehen perfekt verarbeitete BRABUS
fine leather Innenausstattungen, die bis ins letzte Detail auf die
Wünsche des Fahrzeugeigners adaptiert
werden. Dazu gehört nicht nur eine
grenzenlose Vielfalt an Lederund Alcantarasorten in
jedem gewünschten
Farbton und Polsterdesign.
Um die enormen Fahrleistungen der leistungsgesteigerten Luxuslimousine sicher
nutzen zu können und dem Fahrzeug auch optisch eine noch dynamischere Note
zu verleihen, entwickelten die BRABUS Fahrwerksingenieure maßgeschneiderte 21 Zoll „PLATINUM EDITION“ Schmiederäder in verschiedenen Designs. Die
Hightech-Räder in den Größen 9Jx21 vorne und 10.5Jx21 auf der Hinterachse
werden mit Hochleistungsreifen der Dimensionen 255/35 ZR 21 auf der Vorderachse und 295/30 ZR 21 vorne bestückt, die von den Technologiepartnern Continental, Pirelli oder YOKOHAMA beigesteuert werden.
Der sportlich-elegante BRABUS Look für den Mercedes-Maybach wird durch die
im Windkanal entwickelten Aerodynamik-Komponenten abgerundet, die in Erstausrüstungsqualität aus PUR produziert werden.
Die BRABUS Frontschürze, die den Serienstoßfänger komplett ersetzt, verleiht
der Limousine ein noch markanteres Gesicht. Am Heck setzt die BRABUS Heckschürze mit integriertem Diffusor die vier verchromten Endrohre der BRABUS
Hochleistungsauspuffanlage mit Klappensteuerung perfekt in Szene. Am Lenkrad kann der Fahrer wählen, ob er seine Luxuslimousine unauffällig im „Coming
Home“ Flüstermodus fahren will oder in der Sportposition einen betont kraftvollen Motorsound genießen will.
Ebenso individuell ist das Angebot an Edelholz- oder Carbon-Intarsien in jedem
gewünschten Farbton und verschiedenen Oberflächen-Veredelungen. Der
BRABUS Tachometer bis 400 km/h entspricht dem Leistungspotenzial des
BRABUS ROCKET 900 6.3 V12 Biturbo Hubraummotors.
Natürlich bietet BRABUS auch innovative, funktionelle und harmonisch integrierte Business- und Multimedia-Systeme für die neuen Maybach Automobile an. Mit
dem BRABUS „iBusiness“ Konzept steht den Passagieren die neueste Generation
der Apple Computertechnologie für weltweite Kommunikation und Entertainment
in höchster Bild- und Tonqualität zur Verfügung.

BRABUS refines the Mercedes-Maybach
on the rear axle are mounted with high-performance tires of sizes 255/35 ZR 21
on the front axle and 295/30 ZR 21 at the rear, which are supplied by technology partners Continental, Pirelli or YOKOHAMA.
The sporty-elegant BRABUS look for the Mercedes-Maybach is rounded
out with aerodynamic-enhancement components, which were developed
in the wind tunnel and are manufactured in OEM quality from PUR.
The BRABUS front bumper, which replaces the production bumper in its entirety,
lends the sedan an even more distinctive face. At the rear, the BRABUS rear bumper with integrated diffuser provides the perfect backdrop for the four chromeplated tailpipes of the BRABUS high-performance exhaust system with actively
controlled butterfly valve. A button on the steering wheel lets drivers choose between operating their luxury sedan in a subtle and quiet “Coming Home” mode and
enjoying a markedly powerful engine sound in the “Sport” position.
After the conversion, the V12 engine, which is operated exclusively
with high-tech motor oil from MOTUL, produces a peak power of 662
kW / 900 HP (887 bhp) at a low 5,500 rpm. Just as gigantic is the peak torque
of 1,500 Nm (1,105 lb-ft) at 4,200 rpm.
Despite a gross vehicle weight of more than 2.8 tons, the BRABUS super car delivers a performance usually only achieved by a few full-blooded super sports cars:
powered by the BRABUS ROCKET 900 6.3 V12 twin-turbo engine, the four-seat
car accelerates from 0 – 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 3.7 seconds. Top speed is in
excess of 350 km/h (217 mph).
To be able to make safe use of the enormous performance of the tuned luxury
sedan and lend it an even more dynamic visual flair, the BRABUS suspension engineers have developed tailor-made 21-inch “PLATINUM EDITION” forged wheels
in various designs. The high-tech wheels of sizes 9Jx21 at the front and 10.5Jx21
Customizing the interior is yet another particular specialty of our company. The
company upholstery shop creates perfectly finished BRABUS fine leather interiors, every inch tailored to the requests of the vehicle owner. This includes a
limitless variety of types of leathers and Alcantara in any desired color, which can
be finished in any desired upholstery design. What’s more: the range of precious
wood or carbon fiber inlays, which are also available in any desired color and with
a variety of surface finishes, is just as individual. The BRABUS speedometer with
400-km/h dial (250 mph) matches the enormous performance potential of the
BRABUS ROCKET 900 6.3 V12 twin-turbo increased-displacement engine.
Of course, BRABUS also markets innovative, functional and stylishly integrated
business and multimedia systems for the new Maybach automobiles. The
BRABUS “iBusiness” system offers passengers the latest generation of Apple
computer technology for global communication and entertainment with the highest picture and sound quality.

928.000 Besucher, mehr als 10.000 Medienvertreter aus aller Welt und über 2.000
Aussteller: Mit diesen Eckdaten hat sich die alle zwei Jahre stattfindende Auto
Shanghai längst unter den wichtigsten Motor Shows der Welt etabliert.
Und damit steht diese Messe auch seit einigen Jahren auf unserem „Tourneeplan“.
Auch in diesem April präsentierten wir zusammen mit unserem chinesischen Partner
PANG DA ein aufregendes Line-Up von BRABUS Automobilen.
Die Palette der ausgestellten Fahrzeuge reichte von der veredelten Mercedes
C-Klasse bis zum spektakulären BRABUS 700 6x6.
Alle diese Automobile werden exklusiv über die mittlerweile 45 BRABUS Niederlassungen in ganz China vertrieben.
Wie auf allen Automobilmessen rund um den Globus war der BRABUS Stand auch in
der chinesischen Metropole der Treffpunkt für VIPs aus Wirtschaft, Politik, Sport und
Entertainment.
STARTECH China eröffnet

A total of 928,000 visitors, more than 10,000 media representatives from all over
the world and in excess of 2,000 exhibitors: key figures such as these have long
since established the biannual Auto Shanghai among the world’s most significant
motor shows.
As a result, this show has been a fixture on our “tour plan” for a number of years.
This April, we again presented an exciting lineup of BRABUS automobiles together with our Chinese partner PANG DA.
The vehicles on display ranged from the BRABUS-refined Mercedes C-Class to
the spectacular BRABUS 700 6x6.
All these vehicles are sold exclusively at the now 45 BRABUS branches throughout China.
Like at all motor shows around the globe, the BRABUS exhibit in the Chinese
metropolis was also the meeting point for VIPs from business, politics, sports and
entertainment.

STARTECH, unsere Division, die sich exklusiv mit der Veredelung englischer
Automobile beschäftigt, ist ab sofort auch mit einer eigenen Niederlassung in
China präsent. Mehr als 600 geladene Gäste erlebten am 18. April 2015 die
feierliche Eröffnung der STARTECH China Zentrale in Zhangjiagang im Osten
der Volksrepublik China.
Prof. h.c. Bodo Buschmann, CEO der BRABUS Group, zeigte in seiner Einweihungsrede die Perspektiven für die Zukunft auf: „Mit der Eröffnung der
STARTECH China Zentrale in dieser aufstrebenden Wirtschaftsmetropole
setzen wir die Erfolgsstory der BRABUS Group auf diesem anspruchsvollen
Markt nahtlos fort. In den kommenden beiden Jahren werden wir zehn weitere STARTECH Stützpunkte im ganzen Land und zwei große Technikzentren
hier in Zhangiajang und in Tianjin eröffnen, mit denen wir den Besitzern eines
Land Rover, Range Rover oder Jaguar exklusive Veredelung par excellence

Tuning World Bodensee
YOKOHAMA und BRABUS verbindet seit vielen Jahren eine überaus erfolgreiche Technologiepartnerschaft. Deshalb unterstützen wir den japanischen Reifenhersteller auch nach
Kräften bei seinen Messeauftritten.
Anfang Mai stand die Tuning World Bodensee 2015 in Friedrichshafen auf dem Programm
und wir präsentierten auf dem YOKOHAMA Stand einen pechschwarzen BRABUS 700 WIDESTAR auf Basis der Mercedes GL-Klasse. Speziell für diesen 515 kW / 700 PS starken und
300 km/h schnellen High Performance SUV hatte YOKOHAMA die passenden Hochleistungsstraßenreifen im 305/30 R 23 Kingsize-Format entwickelt.
Mehr als 100.000 Besucher kamen zur Tuningmesse im Dreiländereck und feierten
nicht nur unseren exklusiven BRABUS 700 WIDESTAR sondern auch die Gewinner des
YOKOHAMA Tuning Awards 2015.
BRABUS 700 at the Tuning World Bodensee
YOKOHAMA and BRABUS have been linked by a highly successful technology
partnership for many years. For this reason, we support the Japanese tire manufacturer in its trade show appearances to the best of our abilities.
The 2015 Tuning World Bodensee in Friedrichshafen, Germany, was on the calendar in early May and we presented a pitch-black BRABUS 700 WIDESTAR based
on the Mercedes GL-Class on the YOKOHAMA stand. YOKOHAMA had developed
the matching king-sized 305/30 R 23 high-performance tires specifically for this
high-performance SUV with a rated output of 515 kW / 700 HP (690 bhp) and a
top speed of 300 km/h (186 mph).
More than 100,000 visitors attended the tuning show in the tri-border area where
Germany, Switzerland and Austria meet. They not only celebrated our exclusive
BRABUS 700 WIDESTAR model, but also the winners of the 2015 YOKOHAMA
Tuning Awards.
STARTECH China inaugurated
STARTECH, our division that deals exclusively in the refinement of English automobiles, now also has its own branch in China. More than 600 invited guests
attended the grand opening ceremony of the STARTECH China headquarters in
Zhangjiagang in the east of the People’s Republic of China on April 18, 2015.
Prof. h.c. Bodo Buschmann, CEO of BRABUS Group, evinced the prospects for
the future in his inauguration speech: “With the opening of the STARTECH China
headquarters in this up and coming business metropolis, we are seamlessly continuing the success story of BRABUS Group in this discriminating market. In the
next few years we will open ten more STARTECH outlets throughout the country,
plus two major technology centers here in Zhangjiagang and in Tianjin, which will
allow us to offer owners of a Land Rover, Range Rover or Jaguar superior exclusive refinement.”
The newly built hyper-modern tuning center offers modern workstations for
currently 65 employees on an area covering 4,500 m². The center has enjoyed
great customer traffic from the start.

Besonders sportlich ambitionierte Fahrer kennen dieses Problem: Das serienmä ßige
Start-Stop-System kann zwar per Knopfdruck abgeschaltet werden, wird aber nach jedem Motorstart und jedem Umschalten zwischen den Fahrdynamikprogrammen automatisch wieder aktiviert.

Das BRABUS Start-Stop Memory Zusatzsteuergerät kann dank Plug-and-Play Technologie problemlos von jeder Fachwerkstatt installiert werden. Das elektronische Helferlein
ist derzeit für die aktuellen Fahrzeuge der Mercedes-Benz A-, B-, C-, CLA-, GLA- und
S-Klasse verfügbar.

Drivers with particular sporty ambitions are familiar with this problem: although the standard stop/start system can be switched off at the push of a button, it is automatically
reactivated after every engine start and every time a driver switches between driving
dynamics modes.
Many customers came to us for help and their wish is our command: our electronics specialists have developed a module that stores the last status of the stop/start system and
ensures that this setting is active after every engine start and each time the drive mode
is changed.
Thanks to plug-and-play technology, the BRABUS stop/start memory auxiliary control
unit can easily be installed by any specialist workshop. Currently, the electronic little
helper is available for the current vehicles of the Mercedes-Benz A-, B-, C-, CLA-, GLA- and
S-Class.

et everybody know what you are driving! In response to numerous customer
requests, we now offer an illuminated BRABUS logo for the radiator grille of all
current Mercedes S-Class coupes and sedans.
The hallmark BRABUS logotype glows a subtle blue while driving. When the car is
parked and the keyless-entry remote or a door handle is used, the logotype lights
up with full intensity.

With the new BRABUS PowerXtra B50 Hybrid performance kit for the new
Mercedes S 500 PLUG-IN HYBRID, the engine specialists of the world’s largest
independent tuner once more demonstrate their unrivalled expertise.
With special mapping for injection and ignition as well as a moderate increase in
boost pressure, the plug-and-play BRABUS PowerXtra B50 Hybrid performance
kit coaxes an additional 52 horsepower and 70 Newton meters (26 lb-ft) from the
turbocharged 3-liter V6 engine.
Instead of stock 245 kW / 333 hp (328 bhp), the engine produces an output of 283 kW / 385 hp (379 bhp) at 5,600 rpm and generates a peak torque
of 550 Nm (405 lb-ft) between 1,600 and 4,000 rpm after the conversion. In
concert with the electric motor, the tuned S 500 PLUG-IN HYBRID has a system
output of 368 kW / 500 hp (493 bhp) and 890 Nm (656 lb-ft) of system torque.
As a result, the four-door car accelerates from rest to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just
4.9 seconds. Due to the hybrid technology, the top speed remains electronically
limited to 250 km/h (155 mph).

Samsung offers this intense viewing sensation with its new curved 29-inch
(73.66-cm) S29E790C LED monitor. The high-tech company favored a pronounced arc radius of three meters, which results in an especially wide field of

axle: the only question that remains is whether that same car also came off the
assembly line in this immaculate condition all these years ago?
The effort that goes into achieving this result is staggering: the starting point
for the rebirth of a classic Mercedes as part of a BRABUS 6-Star Restoration
is always the disassembly of the original car to the last nut and bolt. All paint is
removed from the body shell, which is then reconditioned by experienced master
bodywork specialists and given a catalytic dip primer coating. Perfect corrosion
protection using cutting-edge technology to protect the paint is also part of the
scope of the restoration as is a perfect paint job in the original color.
Of course, all other parts are restored just as thoroughly or replaced with new

on Stockholm in Schweden über Bottrop und Amsterdam nach Las
Vegas, USA: Das ist Gumball 3000, die verrückteste Auto-Rallye der Welt!
Die schnellsten und stärksten Luxusautomobile der Welt trafen Ende Mai
bei diesem einzigartigen Roadtrip auf Stars wie Formel 1 Weltmeister Lewis
Hamilton, Action-Star Dolph Lundgren, Skaterlegende Tony Hawk, Rockmusiker Tommy Lee oder Knightrider David Hasselhoff.
Einer der Checkpoints auf dieser Fahrt um die halbe Welt war die BRABUS
Manufaktur in Bottrop. Dort konnten sich die Gumball Teilnehmer auf dem
Weg zum Lufttransport via Flughafen Amsterdam stärken und unsere
Manufaktur besuchen. Zusätzlich nutzten viele deutsche Autofans die Gelegenheit, die Supercars auf dem Weg ins amerikanische Spielerparadies zu
bestaunen.

Gumball Rally
puts in a stop at BRABUS

rom Stockholm in Sweden via Bottrop and Amsterdam to Las Vegas,
USA: that is the Gumball 3000, the world’s most insane car rally!
On this unique road trip, the fastest and most powerful luxury cars in the
world encountered stars such as Formula 1 world champion Lewis Hamilton,
action movie star Dolph Lundgren, skater legend Tony Hawk, rock musician
Tommy Lee and Knight Rider David Hasselhoff.
One of the checkpoints on this trip halfway around the world was the
BRABUS Manufaktur in Bottrop. On the way to Amsterdam, from where the
vehicles were airfreighted to the U.S., the participants had the opportunity
to recuperate and tour our artisanal factory. In addition, many German car
enthusiasts took advantage of the opportunity to marvel at the super cars on
their way to the American gambler’s paradise.

E Wheels make cars or in other words: a cocktail with diameters of 20 and
21 inches that further highlights the wedge shape of this unique sports car from
Mercedes-Benz. For the new Mercedes GT and the even sportier GTS model,
our suspension engineers have come up with a very special idea: the BRABUS
Monoblock F “PLATINUM EDITION” high-tech forged wheels!
Thanks to state-of-the-art forging technology, the cross-spoke wheel offers
a perfect symbiosis of lightweight design and maximum strength. Wheels
of sizes 9.5Jx20 at the front and 11Jx21 on the rear axle make full use of
the available space under the wheel arches of the two-seat car. The extremely
wide high-performance tires of sizes 275/30 ZR 20 and 305/25 ZR 21 are supplied by technology partners Continental, Pirelli or YOKOHAMA.
The BRABUS Monoblock F “PLATINUM EDITION” wheels are now available with
a brushed, ceramics mirror-polished or with a matte titanium finish. They can also
be painted any desired color.

And how does a 2.2-ton car with 900 HP on the rear axle
handle? Surprisingly tame and unspectacular at first. When
the powertrain and the butterfly valve of the exhaust are in
comfort mode, the Rocket 900 drives like every other S-Class
– relaxed, casual and despite ample 21-inch tires very comfortable …”

The Rocket 900 has the sheer grunt to defy the laws of physics, and even though it weighs over two tonnes, you can just
look at a gap in traffic and be there in the blink of an eye.
However, while its latest Rocket indeed feels capable of interstellar travel, I’d put money on Brabus creating something
even faster in the not too distant future.”
