1. Booking a Course
1. 1. In order to book a course you should send a registration
form either by post or electronically to s·a·e·s. By booking a
course you are deemed to have agreed to s·a·e·s’ terms and
conditions.
1. 2. Once we have received your registration form we will send
you a booking conirmation and invoice as soon as reasonably practicable.
2. Payment of Course Fees
2. 1. 10% of the course fees as well as any travel or transfer costs
arranged by s·a·e·s on your behalf are payable on receipt of
our invoice.
2. 2. The remaining course fees are payable four weeks before the
start date of your chosen course at the latest.
2. 3. Please state the name of the student attending the course
as well as the start date of your chosen course with every
payment.
3. Changing your Booking
3. 1. Subject to availability you can change your booking without
charge anytime before the start date of your chosen course.
4. Cancellation
4. 1. If you wish to cancel your booking, please let us know as
soon as possible. You can cancel your booking free of charge
up to four weeks before the start of your chosen course. We
will reimburse any payments you have already made less any
disbursements that s·a·e·s has made to third parties on your
behalf. We will use our reasonable endeavours to minimise
such costs.
4. 2. If you cancel your booking less than four weeks but more
than two weeks before the start of your chosen course, a fee
equal to 35% of the total course fees will become payable.
4. 3. If you cancel your booking less than two weeks before the
start date of your chosen course but before such start date, a
fee equal to 50% of the total course fees will become payable.
4. 4. In the event of non-attendance at your chosen course
without cancellation before the start date, the full course fees
will be payable.
5. Liability
5. 1. s·a·e·s’ liability shall not exceed such amount as is equal to
three times the course fees for your chosen course, save
that nothing in these terms and conditions shall limit s·a·e·s’
liability for death or personal injury caused by the gross
negligence of s·a·e·s.
5. 2. In the event of a potential breach of contract by s·a·e·s,
please notify us as soon as you become aware of any such
breach in order to allow s·a·e·s to remedy the breach and / or
to mitigate any damage arising from such breach.
5. 3. s·a·e·s shall not be liable for any breach of which you were
aware but did not notify s·a·e·s of, if such breach could have
been remedied, had s·a·e·s known of such breach.
6. Course Rules and Rules of Conduct
6. 1. The student taking part in a course ofered by s·a·e·s agrees
to comply with the course rules and the s·a·e·s rules of con-
duct, details of which will be sent to you together with the
course materials and / or given to the student on arrival. The
purpose of these rules is to ensure the safety and wellbeing
of all students and to create an efective learning environment. Parents are therefore asked to ensure that students are
aware of these rules and the importance of following them.
6. 2. In the event of a serious or repeated failure on behalf of a
student to follow the course rules and the rules of conduct,
s·a·e·s may ask the student to leave the course if, in the opinion of s·a·e·s, the behaviour of the student adversely afects
the safety and wellbeing of other students or interferes with
the learning of others.
7. Changes to Activities and Timetable
7. 1. s·a·e·s will not be liable for any changes to the course which
may become necessary for reasons which are outside of
s·a·e·s’ control. However, s·a·e·s is keen to ensure that your
course meets your expectations. If an activity or other service

Es finden 16 Gruppenstunden à 45 Minuten statt, die auf vier Tage in

Das IB Study Programme Language Based richtet sich an Schüler, die
bereits am IB-Programm teilnehmen und einen Schwerpunkt auf die
englische Sprache legen möchten, mit einem Fokus auf die Optimierung

Das IB Study Programme Science Based fördert Schüler im IB-Progamm,

den Naturwissenschaften.
3. IB Revision
Das s∙a∙e∙s IB Revision Programme ist von uns speziell entwickelt worden,
um die Schüler optimal auf die Prüfungen im Mai vorzubereiten.
In 16 Gruppenstunden und 14 Privatstunden bieten wir den Schülern
die Möglichkeit, alle lehrplanrelevanten Themen zu wiederholen.

IM COLLEGE (HALBPENSION)
Das Frühstück und ein warmes Mittagessen werden im großen Speisesaal des
Colleges serviert. Für das Abendessen stehen viele Restaurants zur Auswahl.
Ebenso gibt es viele Einkaufsmöglichkeiten für die Selbstverpflegung.
In Oxford sind unsere Gäste im traditionsreichen St. Hildas College untergebracht. Die Unterbringung im College orientiert sich an dem in einem
Universitätscollege üblichen Standard. Die Zimmer verfügen über herrliche
Ausblicke auf den umliegenden Park. Daneben gibt es verschiedene
Aufenthaltsräume und kleine Teeküchen.
Schüler, die in Gastfamilien untergebracht sind, wohnen zur Vollpension.
Frühstück, Mittag**- und Abendessen werden bei der Gastfamilie
eingenommen.
PRIVATUNTERKUNFT / GASTFAMILIE (VOLLPENSION)
Neben der Unterbringung im College vermitteln wir Privatunterkünfte. Die
Gastfamilien werden von uns persönlich ausgesucht, die meisten Familien
kennen wir seit Jahren. Während das College Halbpension anbietet, wohnen die
Schüler in den Privatunterkünften zur Vollpension.

Ein TOEFL- oder IELTS-Abschluss ist oft eine Zulassungsvoraussetzung für den
Besuch einer amerikanischen oder einer privaten deutschen Universität. Unser
TOEFL- und IELTS- Vorbereitungskurs besteht aus zehn Unterrichtsstunden
sowie betreuten practice tests, die in der unterrichtsfreien Zeit absolviert werden.
In diesem Kurs geht es um personal training. Wir zeigen dem Schüler,
wie er seiner Umgebung signalisiert, wer er ist und was er kann.

VI. AN- UND ABREISE / TRANSFER
Ʌ Samstag ist sowohl An- als auch Abreisetag der Schüler. Es besteht die Möglichkeit, sich von s∙a∙e∙s direkt am Flughafen abholen zu lassen.

Die meisten unserer Gäste kommen am Flughafen Heathrow an. Gegen Aufpreis
bieten wir die Abholung von dort mit einem von uns organisierten Taxi. Die Anund Abreise vom Flughafen Heathrow erfolgt samstags.
LONDON HEATHROW - OXFORD (KOSTEN CA. £ 29,-)
Bitte buchen Sie die Flüge so, dass die Wartezeiten am Flughafen nicht zu
lange sind. Die Ankunft und der Abflug sollten also möglichst zwischen
09.00 Uhr morgens und 16.00 Uhr nachmittags liegen. Falls es zu Wartezeiten
kommen sollte, sind Betreuer von s∙a∙e∙s vor Ort und kümmern sich um die
Wartenden. Die Abholung mit dem Taxi außerhalb der oben genannten Zeiten
ist gegebenenfalls auch mit Aufpreis möglich. (s.u.)
Gäste, die an den Flughäfen London-Gatwick, London-Stansted oder LondonLuton ankommen, können auch gegen Aufpreis mit dem Taxi abgeholt werden.
Aus organisatorischen Gründen haben wir an diesen Flughäfen leider keine
Betreuer.
Die meisten Flüge kommen in den Terminals 2 & 5 an. Von Terminal 2 gehen
Sie zur Central Bus Station (gut ausgeschildert). Am Schalter kaufen Sie ein
Period Return Ticket. Dort nehmen Sie die Oxford Bus Company (Airline Bus)
und fahren bis zur Haltestelle Oxford, St. Clements. Der Bus fährt von Haltestelle
14A ab. Von Terminal 5 (British Airways) folgen Sie der Ausschilderung zu den
Bushaltestellen, dort gehen Sie nach rechts und laufen bis zur letzten Haltestelle,
wo der Bus nach Oxford abfährt. Das Ticket (Period Return Ticket) kaufen
Sie in diesem Fall im Bus. Busse fahren alle 30 Min. ab 06.30 Uhr. Die Fahrzeit
beträgt etwa 90 Min. Sie fahren bis zur Haltestelle Oxford, St. Clements.
LONDON GATWICK - OXFORD (KOSTEN CA. £ 35,-)
Die meisten Flüge kommen im South Terminal an. Folgen Sie den Schildern vom
Terminal zum “upper forecourt”. Am Schalter kaufen Sie ein “period return ticket”
nach Oxford. Busse fahren alle 60 Minuten ab 07.15 Uhr. Die Fahrtzeit beträgt
ca. 120 Minuten. Sie fahren bis zur Haltestelle Oxford St. Clements.

Am Schalter von National Express in der Ankunftshalle kaufen Sie ein “period
return ticket” nach Oxford. Gehen Sie zu den Bushaltestellen gleich am
Flughafenausgang. Sie haben eine direkte Verbindung mit dem Bus Nummer
JL 737, der etwa alle zwei Stunden fährt - die genauen Abfahrtszeiten erfahren
Sie unter www.nationalexpress.com. Die Fahrtzeit beträgt etwa dreieinhalb
Stunden. Sie fahren bis zur Haltestelle Gloucester Green und nehmen von dort
ein Taxi.
Als Alternative nehmen Sie den Bus Nummer ABA6. Sie fahren bis London,
Victoria Station. Hier müssen Sie umsteigen. Mit dem Bus OX X90 fahren Sie
weiter nach Oxford. Die ABA6 - Busse fahren ab 4.00 Uhr ca. alle 30 Minuten.
Die Fahrtzeit beträgt ca. vier Stunden und zehn Minuten. Sie fahren bis zur
Haltestelle Oxford St. Clements.
BIRMINGHAM – OXFORD (KOSTEN CA. £ 36,-)
Vom Birminingham International Airport fahren alle 14 Min. nach der vollen
Stunden Züge direkt nach Oxford. Vom Flughafen zum Bahnsteig laufen Sie nur
7 Min. Der Zug braucht etwa 1 Stunde nach Oxford (HBF). Von dort aus raten
wir ein Taxi zum St. Hilda’s College zu nehmen (£ 7). Tickets können Sie online

On the Sunday of your arrival there will be a thorough assessment process
designed to ensure appropriate grouping and maximum efficiency.
Your group and private lessons take place on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays
and Fridays. Wednesdays are reserved for mock exams, extra workshops, extra
lessons, feedback sessions, English clinic and homework or London day trip.
