Aktuelle Popmusik im Deutschunterricht
Bis vor wenigen Jahren galt deutsche Pop- und Rap-Musik als absolute Randerscheinung,
nicht nur im Ausland, sondern auch in Deutschland selbst. Mit dem weltweiten Erfolg der
jungen Musiker der Gruppe „Tokio Hotel“ hat sich dies schlagartig geändert: Musik aus
Deutschland und – vor allem – Musik auf Deutsch ist „in“! Ob Rock, Pop, HipHop, Dancehall
oder Reggae – nicht nur in der (Musik-)Hauptstadt Berlin, sondern überall zwischen
Hamburg und München zeigen heute junge Gruppen und Musiker, wie vielfältig die deutsche
Musikszene ist.
Im Alltag von Schülern ist spätestens seit der Erfindung des iPod Musik allgegenwärtig –
warum also nicht auch Musik im Deutschunterricht?! Als Lernmedium hat Musik großes
Potenzial: Sie lässt sich ohne technischen Aufwand leicht in den Unterricht integrieren und
für alle Fertigkeitsbereiche (Hören, Sprechen, Schreiben, Lesen) einsetzen. Daneben eignet
sie sich auch bestens zur Werbung für Deutsch während des Orientamento.
