GEOlino – Germany´s most successful children´s magazine
GEOlino is GEO´s children´s magazine. It was launched in 1996 and right from the beginning established a
cooperation with UNICEF, the leading advocate for children´s rights worldwide. Today GEOlino is one of the most
outstanding, credible and innovative children´s magazines in Germany. After 10 years, the circulation is still
increasing and the number of subscriptions is constantly growing.
With more than 260.000 sold copies each month and 200.000 subscriptions (IVW II/07), GEOlino has the highest
audited subscription circulation and is the most successful children´s magazine in the German market.

GEOlino – An international success story
The first GEOlino issue was published in Germany in 1996.
In 2002 GEOlino was launched as GEOado in France.
In 2003 Russia launched GEOlenok as a Russian version of GEOlino. GEOlenok is the
clear market leader in the children´s segment in Russia. For the fifth time in series the
magazine won the award as the top-selling title in the segment „Children
Education“ given by the Russian distribution association ARRP.
Right from the beginning GEOlino symbolizes outstanding journalism for kids and is in
cooperation with UNICEF, the leading advocate for children´s rights all over the
world.

GEOlino offers various innovative and attractive features on its websites such as communities, e-cards, newsletters and forums, which
are prepared in a child-friendly way. In addition, photo competitions with changing topics integrate the readers into the online
