GRADE SCHOOL
ACTIVITIES
tumbang preso at ten-twenty.

The Grade School Guidance Center upholds constructive and
affirmative behavior through various advocacies. With this,
the STCProjectHero was launched last September. This is in
connection with the school’s General Theme that encourages
students and faculty members to exemplify Honesty,
Empowering others, Respect, and Optimism (HERO).
The launching of the STCProjectHERO was conducted per
grade level last September 10 & 11, 2014 at the Sr. Adolphine
Hall. Various interactive activities were also carried out
during the Guidance Fair to deepen the understanding of
the component of the acronym HERO.
The Honesty booth featured honest
Filipinos together with Theresians and
personnel who exemplify honesty. They
were recognized by the Grade School
Student Organization (GSSO). Students’
honesty was challenged through the
“How Do you Feel Today” activity and the
STC Honesty Store.
The Empowerment area showcased
simple random acts. A short video clip
was also shown highlighting the powerful
effect of doing good deeds to others.
Various traditions, practices, and acts
of showing respect were presented in
the Respect Map. Students realized the
importance of being responsible
through the Responsibility Chain.
The Optimism booth focused on
having the right attitude in pursuing
one’s goal despite difficulties and
challenges. Students were given the
opportunity to reflect and assess
themselves on how they perceive
different situations.
