a tactical chassis for our semi-automatic rimfire
platform, the 512. Chambered in .22 LR or .22 WMR,
it comes with a 16.5” barrel, 1/2×28 muzzle
threads, top Picatinny rail, 6-position stock and
higher magazine capacity than the standard
gun. One of the best features of the 512
platform is that it uses the same reliable
single-stack mags as the 455.

TWO-POSITION SAFETY
M.O.A.TM TRIGGER SYSTEM
XPRTM BOLT
The XPR TM has an easy-to-operate twoposition safety catch. Located in front of the
safety button, the bolt release button allows
the action to cycle unfired cartridges while
the safety is on - whilst the cocking indicator
on the bolt head instantly shows the shooter
whether his gun is cocked or uncocked.
The M.O.A.TM trigger system on the XPRTM uses
a straightforward lever action. The trigger A,
actuator B, and sear C are shown above. All
the internal components, pins and springs are
precision engineered to stringent standards
from stainless steel.
The 3-lug bolt on the XPR TM is built from
hi-tech, nickel-teflon coated steel bars, and is
as easy to use as it is solid. A key feature
of the XPR TM is its 60 o action angle, which
prevents the bolt from knocking against the
scope and reduces re-cocking time.

A favorite of many hunters and shooters, the Short Rifle was fast to the shoulder,
quick-swinging, lightweight and a pleasure to shoot.
It was a favorite of the range rider who could snatch it from his saddle scabbard and
fire faster than prairie lightning. The new Winchester® Model 94® Short Rifle has a compact
20” deeply-blued round barrel and a straight grip walnut stock. It has a rifle-style forearm, black
grip cap and a full-length magazine. It’s drilled and tapped for scope mounts, and a hammer spur
extension is included with the rifle. The sights are traditional with a semi-buckhorn rear and a
Marble Arms® gold bead at the muzzle. With the new Short Rifle Model 94 there’s a lot of fun
waiting in the saddle, in the field or at the range.
This rifle became the Model 94 Winchester. It was the ultimate iteration of Winchester
levers and, although coming at the end of westward expansion, is often called “The Gun that Won
the West.”
