Insight Instruments was founded in 1990 and is specialized in
psycho-physiological monitoring, biofeedback and development of
user-optimised software for biofeedback therapy. Insight Instruments
has placed about 2,500 clinical biofeedback systems in Austria
and Germany. The company developed and marketed the wellestablished clinical biofeedback-system SOFTmed, which consists
of multisensors for autonomic physiological functions, EMG, EEG
and respiration as well as sophisticated software for biofeedback
therapy and stress diagnostics. Since 1998 Insight Instruments runs
the European Biofeedback Academy, which until now has educated
about 1,500 persons in the application of biofeedback in therapy and
