TASF
Travel Agent Service Fee – MISF (TASF) is an
automated paperless, method of issuing, reporting
and processing travel agent service fees paid by credit
card in the BSP markets.
TASF brings efficiency to the fee
settlement process available through
the major credit card types, enabling
any IATA accredited travel agent to
receive payment of the service fees
that are billed to a client’s credit card.
TASF is easy to use, flexible and fully
integrated in the MySabre portal. TASF
allows Agency to automatically issue
a service fee for air, car, hotel, and
all other auxiliary segments within a
Passenger Name Record (PNR).
Comprehensive reporting of information
for all TASF credit card transactions:

• Agency may collect Service Fees by
using the Miscellaneous Intelligent
Service Fee (MISF) entries when
the customer’s form of payment is
Credit Card.
• Generates
additional
revenue
opportunities for your Agency.
• Agent reports and settles directly
with IATA through the GDS.
• Minimum of workflow disruption.
• Transactions fully integrated into the
IATA settlement process and their
Agent Billing Analysis.
Functions
• TASF transactions can be reported
for all of the major credit card
types:
- American Express
- Diners Club
- Visa
- MasterCard
- UATP
• TASF transactions will appear on
cardholders statements described
as “IATA agent Service Fee”
- TASF transaction number
- Service fee amount
- Associated
ticket
number
if
appropriate and entered by the
Agent.
- TASF reported to BSP
- Credit Card type
- Credit Card number
• Additionally, Agent may collect
Service Fee for CASH transactions
entering an OTH segment and
associated accounting line.
• Agency may define a default service
fee and tax amount in the Travel
Journal Record (TJR).These amounts
are then automatically associated to
the Sabre system version at time of
transaction.

following BSP Markets: Argentina,
Australia, Bermuda, Brazil, Canada,
Colombia, Cyprus, Denmark, Finland,
France, Germany, Italy, Norway,
Panama, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland.
