Verwendung
Die Bohrmaschine BM 500
ist ein handliches, druckluftbetriebenes Gerät. Sie ist
mit einer Umschaltsteuerung
(Pos. 4) von Rechts- auf
Linkslauf ausgerüstet und
eignet sich zum Bohren
in Kunststoff, Holz, Metall
und ähnlichen Materialien
im Handwerks-, Industrie-,
Landwirtschafts- und KfzBereich. Durch das Schnellwechselfutter (Pos. 2) ist
ein einfaches Wechseln der
Bohrer möglich.
● Lesen Sie vor der Inbetriebnahme diese Betriebsanleitung. Beachten Sie
insbesondere die Sicherheitshinweise.
● Wenn Sie beim Auspakken einen Transportschaden feststellen, benachrichtigen Sie umgehend
Ihren Händler. Nehmen
Sie das Gerät nicht in
Betrieb!
● Entsorgen Sie die Verpakkung bitte umweltgerecht.
Geben Sie sie an entsprechende Sammelstellen.
● Bewahren Sie diese Betriebsanleitung gut auf,
damit Sie bei Unklarheiten
jederzeit nachlesen können.
● Wenn Sie das Gerät einmal verleihen oder verkaufen, geben Sie auch

4. Sicherheitsbestimmungen
Schützen Sie sich und Ihre
Umwelt durch geeignete
Vorsichtsmaßnahmen vor
Unfallgefahren.
● Bohrmaschine nicht
zweckentfremden.
● Rotierende Teile nicht
berühren.
● Druckluftwerkzeuge vor
Kindern sichern!
● Nur ausgeruht und konzentriert zu Werke gehen.
● Druckluftanschluß nur
über eine Schnellkupplung.

● Arbeitsdruckeinstellung
muß über einen Druckminderer erfolgen.
● Als Energiequelle keinen
Sauerstoff oder brennbare Gase verwenden.
● Vor Störungsbeseitigung
und Wartung, Gerät von
der Druckluftquelle trennen.
● Nie bei voller Leerlaufdrehzahl unbelastet laufen lassen.
● Schutzkleidung, insbesondere Gehörschutz und
Schutzbrille tragen.

6. Wartung und Pflege
Schrauben Sie den mitgelieferten Stecknippel (Pos. 5)
in den Luftanschluß. Führen
Sie den gewünschten Bohrer
(max. Ø 10 mm bei Stahl und
max. Ø 20 mm bei Holz) in
das Bohrfutter (Pos. 1) ein.
Um einen festen Sitz des
Bohrers zu gewährleisten,
muß dieser mit dem Schnellwechselfutter von Hand fest
angezogen werden.
Die Bohrmaschine BM 500
wird über den Stecknippel
(Pos. 5) an einen flexiblen
Druckluftschlauch (Ø 9 mm
innen) mit Schnellkupplung
angeschlossen. Es muß
sichergestellt sein, daß der
max. zulässige Arbeitsdruck
(6 bar) nicht überschritten
wird.
Die Einhaltung der hier angegebenen Wartungshinweise
sichert für dieses Qualitätsprodukt eine lange Lebensdauer und einen störungsfreien Betrieb.
Für eine dauerhafte einwandfreie Funktion Ihrer Bohrmaschine ist eine regelmäßige
Schmierung Voraussetzung.
Verwenden Sie hierfür nur
spezielles Pneumatiköl (siehe Kapitel 9 "Zubehör").
Folgende Möglichkeiten
stehen Ihnen in Sachen
Schmierung zur Auswahl:
Führen Sie die Bohrmaschine an das zu bearbeitende Objekt heran. Erst jetzt
darf die Inbetriebnahme der
Bohrmaschine durch leichtes
Andrücken und gleichzeitiges Betätigen des Auslösers
(Pos. 3) erfolgen.
b) über einen Anbauöler:
(siehe Kapitel 9 "Zubehör"):
In unmittelbarer Nähe des
Werkzeuges (ca. 50 cm
Abstand) wird ein Anbauöler
installiert, der das Werkzeug ausreichend mit Öl
versorgt.
Durch Betätigen des Umschalters (Pos. 2) kann die
Laufrichtung der Bohrmaschine eingestellt werden.
F = Rechtslauf
R = Linkslauf
a) über einen Öler:
Eine komplette Wartungseinheit beinhaltet einen Öler
und ist am Kompressor angebracht.

c) von Hand:
Ist bei Ihrer Anlage weder
eine Wartungseinheit noch
ein Anbauöler vorhanden,
so müssen vor jeder Inbetriebnahme des DruckluftWerkzeuges 3 - 5 Tropfen
Öl in den Druckluftanschluß
gegeben werden.
War das Druckluft-Werkzeug
mehrere Tage außer Betrieb, müssen Sie vor dem
Einschalten 5 - 10 Tropfen
Öl in den Druckluftanschluß
geben.
Lagern Sie Ihre Druckluftwerkzeuge / -geräte nur in
trockenen Räumen.

The BM 500 air drill is a
handy pneumatic tool. It
has a selector (no. 4) for
switching between forward
and reverse operation and
can be used for drilling in
plastic, wood, metal and
similar materials in handiwork, industrial, agricultural and automotive applications. Drill bit changing
is a snap with the quickchange chuck (no. 2).
● Immediately notify your
dealer of any transport
damage. Do not put the
tool into operation!
● Please dispose of the
packaging in an environmentally friendly
manner. Take the pakkaging materials to the
appropriate collection
points.
● Do not use oxygen or an
inflammable gas as an
energy source.
● Disconnect the tool from
the compressed air source prior to troubleshooting or maintenance.
● Never run the drill with
no load at full no-load
speed.
● Wear protective clothing, especially hearing
protecting and safety
glasses.

else without being accompanied by the documents supplied with it.
● Connect the compressed
air by means of a quick
coupler only.

Screw the supplied plug
(no. 5) into the air connection port. Insert the desired
drill bit (max. Ø 10 mm for
steel and max. Ø 20 mm
for wood) into the chuck
(no. 1).
Secure the drill bit by tightening the quick-change
chuck by hand.
The BM 500 air drill is
connected to a flexible air
hose (inside Ø: 9 mm) with
a quick coupler via the plug
(no. 5). The max. allowable
working pressure (6 bar)
must not be exceeded.
Complying with these
maintenance instructions
is essential to ensuring
the long life and safe operation of this high-quality
product.
Lubricate the air drill regularly to guarantee reliable
long-term functioning. Use
special pneumatic oil only
(see chapter 9, 'Accessories').
The following possibilities
are available for lubrication:
Guide the air drill to the
workpiece. Only now can
you start the air drill by
gently pressing and holding the trigger (no. 3).
Set the selector switch
(no. 2) to the appropriate
setting for forward or reverse drill operation.
F = forward operation
R = reverse operation
a) Via an oiler:
A complete service unit
contains an oiler and is attached to the compressor.
b) Via a line oiler:
(see chapter 9, 'Accessories'):
A line oiler is installed
right next to the tool (at a
distance of approx. 50 cm)
to supply the tool with oil.

c) By hand:
If your system does not
come with a service unit
or a line oiler you must put
3 to 5 drops of oil into the
compressed air port before
using the pneumatic tool
for the first time.
If the pneumatic tool has
not been used for several
days you must put 5 to 10
drops of oil into the compressed air port before
switching the tool on.
Store pneumatic tools in a
dry room.
