Die Installation unter allen drei Systemen (Windows, Mac und Linux) ist
recht einfach gehalten. Das Schwierigste an dieser Installation ist
vermutlich der Pfad zum Hauptordner von X-Plane 10.
Bei einer Download Version laden Sie sich bitte die für Ihre System
passende .zip Datei aus Ihrem Download Shop Account herunter und
entpacken diese in einen beliebigen Ordner. Nach dem Entpacken
starten Sie bitte die Installationsdatei per Doppelklick.
Sind Sie im Besitz der CD/DVD Version sollte die Installation unter
Windows automatisch starten. Ist diese Funktion auf Ihrem System
deaktiviert oder nutzen Sie ein Mac oder Linux System, dann öffnen Sie
bitte die CD/DVD mit einem passenden Dateiverwaltungsprogramm
(z.B.: Explorer, Total Commander, Finder, Midnight Commander oder
Nautilus) und starten Sie anschließend von dort das Installationsprogramm.
Bevor Sie mit der Installation fortfahren, vergewissern Sie sich bitte, dass
X-Plane geschlossen ist und Sie die erforderlichen Rechte besitzen um
die Installation auszuführen.
Das Installationsprogramm wird Sie nun durch die einzelnen Schritte
führen.
Bei einem Schritt werden Sie aufgefordert den Pfad zum X-Plane
Hauptverzeichnis einzugeben. Vergewissern Sie sich bitte, dass dieser
korrekt eingeben ist und dass Sie auch nur das Hauptverzeichnis gewählt
haben und kein Unterverzeichnis wie z.B.: Custom Scenery oder
Aircrafts.
Deinstallation
Eine Deinstallation sollte nie manuell durchgeführt werden, sondern
immer über den mitgelieferten Deinstaller. Unter Windows können Sie
die Deinstallation sehr bequem über die Systemsteuerung ->
Programme und Funktionen aufrufen und durchführen.

Bei den beiden anderen Systemen können Sie die Deinstallation
aufrufen, in dem Sie in das Verzeichnis (bei Szenerien) <X-Plane 10
Hauptordner>\Custom Scenery\Aerosoft – „ICAO Code“ “Produkt
Name“\_“Produkt Name“_installation\ wechseln und das Programm
„Change ‚Produkt Name‘ Installation“ ausführen und die Option
„Uninstall Product“ wählen.
Hier noch ein Beispiel Pfad anhand vom Produkt „Airport FrankfurtHahn“:

Grafikeinstellungen X-Plane
Wir empfehlen Ihnen zunächst niedrige Einstellungen in den XP10
Rendering Options zu testen und diese dann schrittweise zu erhöhen.
Auf unseren Testcomputern (Mac und PC) haben wir mit den folgenden,
relativ hohen Einstellungen sehr gute Ergebnisse erzielen können.

DSF Dateien
Im Produkt enthalten sind mehrere DSF Dateien. Mit diesen DSF Dateien
können Sie z.B.: das 3D Gras an oder ausschalten (je nachdem ob Ihr
Rechner über genügend Leistung verfügt) oder Sie können zwischen
der normalen oder G2XPL Version schalten.
Falls Sie das Plugin G2XPL verwenden oder z.B.: die Fototapeten von
SimHeaven, dann können Sie die Datei +53-007.dsf.g2xpl (ohne 3D
Gras) oder +53-007.dsf.g2xpl_grass (mit 3D Gras) in +53-007.dsf
umbenennen und die bekannten Dreiecke auf dem Boden sind erst mal
verschwunden. Dies ist bisher nur eine Zwischenlösung, da in dieser
Datei alle Detail Layer ausgeschaltet sind.
Um die Dateien umzubenennen müssen Sie über Ihr
Dateiverwaltungsprogramm in folgenden Ordner wechseln: [X-Plane
Hauptordner]\Custom Scenery\Aerosoft - EIDW Airport Dublin\Earth
nav data\+50-010\
Das Vorbild
Der Flughafen der irischen Hauptstadt Dublin wurde offiziell am 19.
Januar 1940 um 9 Uhr morgens eröffnet. Der erste Flug an diesem
kalten Donnerstagmorgen war eine Lockheed 14 der Aer Lingus mit
dem Ziel Liverpool.
Die Fluggesellschaft Aer Lingus hat bis heute Ihren Hauptsitz am Airport
Dublin, genauso wie die Billigfluglinie Ryanair.
Der Flughafen verfügt über zwei Terminals, in denen im Jahr 2012 19,1
Millionen Passagiere abgefertigt wurden.
Das Terminal 1 verfügt über drei sogenannten Piers (A,B und D). Pier C
musste dem Bau des Terminals 2 weichen. Das Terminal 2, welches im
November 2010 eröffnet wurde ,besitzt das Pier E und dient Aer Lingus
als Unterkunft.

Installation
The installation on all three systems (Windows, Mac und Linux) is kept
really simple. The hardest part oft he installation is probably the path tot
he main folder of X-Plane 10.

Having purchased a download version you will need to download the
.zip file suited for your system from your download shop account and
then unzip it to a folder of your choice. After unzipping please double
click on the install file.
Before you continue with the installation please make sure that X-Plane
is closed and that you have the necessary rights to install.
The install program will now lead you step by step.
One step will ask you for the path of the X-Plane main folder. Make sure
that this path is correct, it should only be the path for the main folder
and not for any sub-folders such as: Custom Scenery or Aircrafts.
Deinstallation
Never manually uninstall the product. Please always use the Uninstaller
that comes with the program. You can do this in by navigating to the
control panel -> programs and features. In other systems you can call up
the uninstaller, by going to the folder (sceneries) <X-Plane 10 main
folder>\Custom Scenery\Aerosoft – „ICAO Code“ “product
name“\_“product name“_installation\ and to execute the program
„Change ‚product name‘ Installation“ and to select the option „Uninstall
Product“.
Here´s an example for a path to the „Airport Frankfurt-Hahn“:

If you are owner of the CD/DVD version, installation should start
automatically under Windows. If this function is de-activated on your
system or if you are using a Mac or Linux system, open the CD/DVD with
a program (e.g.: Explorer, Total Commander, Finder, Midnight
Commander or Nautilus) and then start the install.

Display setting X-Plane
We advise you to set your rendering options to low or medium settings
first. If you experience good framerates you can increase the settings for
a better graphical experience. In our tests we came to the conclusion
that the following settings gave us a reasonable framerate and very
good visual experience with our test PCs and Macs.
Note: To be able to see illuminations on the ground make sure to
activate “HDR rendering“
DSF Files
The product contains several DSF files. These files allow switching on or
off some features such as 3D grass (all depending on capability of your
system) or switching between the normal or G2XPL version.
In case you are using the plug-in G2XPL or, e.g., the photo textures by
SimHeaven, you can rename the files +53-007.dsf.g2xpl (no 3D Gras) or
+53-007.dsf.g2xpl_grass (with 3D Gras) in +53-007.dsf which eliminates
the known triangles on the ground. Note that this is only a temporary
solution as in this file all detail layers are switched off.

The original
The airport itself has two terminals servicing 19.1 million passengers in
2012. Terminal 1 has three piers (A,B and D). Pier C was demolished in
favor of the Terminal 2 which was opened in November 2010 and holds
Pier E which is the main Aer Lingus Pier.

The airport of the Irish capital, Dublin was officially opened on the 19th
Jan. 1940 at 9 a.m.. The first flight out on this cold Thursday morning
was a Lockheed 14 of Aer Lingus to Liverpool. To this day Aer Lingus still
