Biografie/biography
1965 geboren in Winterthur, Schweiz, lebt und
arbeitet er seit 1990 in Zürich, wo er als
Programmverantwortlicher die Kinos ‚Riffraff’
in Zürich und ‚Bourbaki’ in Luzern betreibt. Er
initiierte ‚Fantoche’, das internationale Festival
für Animationsfilm in Baden, Schweiz, war
langjähriges Mitglied der Festivalleitung und
präsidiert heute die Trägerschaft von
‚Fantoche’. Mit Claudius Gentinetta realisierte
er bisher drei animierte Kurzfilme: ‚Die
Seilbahn’, ‚Schlaf’ und ‚Islander's rest’.
1965 born in Winterthur, Switzerland, since
1990 living and working in Zurich as program
director of the arthouse cinemas ‚Riffraff’,
Zurich and ‚Bourbaki’, Lucerne. He started off
‚Fantoche’, the international animation film
festival in Baden, Switzerland, was part of the
festival management for many years and keeps
up to be president of the festival committee.
With Claudius Gentinetta he made three
animated short films: ‚The Cable Car’ ‚Sleep’
and ‚Islander's rest’.
