USA dennoch mit einem Anteil am Gesamtexport
von 10,6% das weltweit wichtigste Abnehmerland für
Produkte bayerischer Unternehmen.
Zweitwichtigstes Abnehmerland Bayerns war Österreich mit einem Anteil von 8,5% am Gesamtexport (12,3 Mrd. EUR) vor Italien mit einem Anteil von
8,4% (12,9 Mrd. EUR). Auf Platz vier lag Großbritannien mit 7,9% (12,1 Mrd. EUR), und an fünfter Stelle
Frankreich mit 7,5 % (11,4 Mrd. EUR).
In 2007, for the first time, the Bavarian export economy sold goods with a value of more than150 billion
EUR on the world market. With exports in the
amount of 153.6 billion EUR and a plus of 8.7% it
established an export record for the fourteenth consecutive time. Thus, in comparison to 1993, when
Bavarian exports were under 50 billion EUR, exports
from Bavaria have more than tripled in 14 years.
Gleichzeitig erreichte die Exportquote der bayerischen
Industrie mit 49,6% einen neuen Höchststand.
Nahezu jeder zweite Euro in der bayerischen Industrie
wird inzwischen auf den Weltmärkten verdient.
At the same time the export quota of the Bavarian industry went up to a new record value of 49.6%.
Today almost every second Euro in the Bavarian industry is earned on the world markets.
Die Einfuhren nach Bayern sind parallel dazu um 7%
auf 124 Mrd. EUR gestiegen. Der Ausfuhrüberschuss belief sich im letzten Jahr auf einen neuen
Höchststand von 29,7 Mrd. EUR.
Imports to Bavaria increased as well, by 7% to124
billion EUR. In the past year the export surplus reached
a new record high of 29.7 billion EUR.
Diese Zahlen belegen eindrucksvoll, dass die Produkte
bayerischer Unternehmen international gefragt
sind und unsere Wirtschaft im globalen Wettbewerb
hervorragend aufgestellt ist. Jeder vierte Arbeitsplatz in Bayern hängt mittlerweile von den Erfolgen
der bayerischen Exportwirtschaft ab.
EU UND DIE USA BLEIBEN
WICHTIGSTE ABSATZMÄRKTE
Mit dem EU-Beitritt von Rumänien und Bulgarien zum
01. 01. 2007 erreichten die bayerischen Exporte in
die 27 Mitgliedsstaaten der EU ein neues Rekordniveau
von 95,9 Mrd. EUR. Damit gingen 62,4% der bayerischen Ausfuhren in die EU.
Obwohl die Exporte in die USA um 3% auf 16,4 Mrd.
EUR gesunken sind — hierfür dürfte vor allem der
schwache Dollar verantwortlich sein — blieben die

These figures are impressive evidence of the international demand for the Bavarian product portfolio
and for the advantageous position of our economy in
global terms. Today every fourth job in Bavaria depends on the success of the Bavarian export economy.
THE MOST IMPORTANT MARKETS
REMAIN THE EU AND THE USA
After Romania and Bulgaria joined the EU on January 1,
2007, Bavarian exports reached a new record high of
95.9 billion EUR in the 27 EU member states. This means
that 62.4% of Bavarian exports went to the EU.
Although exports to the USA decreased by 3% to 16.4
billion EUR — probably a result of the weak dollar —
the USA with a10.6% share in total exports remained
the most important market for products made by
Bavarian companies.
Einen Rückgang gab es dagegen, wie schon im Vorjahr,
bei den Ausfuhren nach Japan. 2007 gingen diese
um 6,2% zurück. Hier dürfte sich vor allem die Stärke
des Euro gegenüber dem Yen auswirken.
EXPORTSCHLAGER FAHRZEUGE,
MASCHINEN UND ELEKTROTECHNISCHE
ERZEUGNISSE
Unter den exportierten Gütern dominierten auch
2007 Fahrzeuge, Maschinen und elektrotechnische Erzeugnisse mit einem Anteil von insgesamt 60,7%.
Auf Rang eins standen erneut Fahrzeuge (49,1Mrd. EUR,
+9,3 %), Rang zwei belegten Maschinen (28 Mrd.
EUR, +12,9%), gefolgt von elektrotechnischen Erzeugnissen (16,1 Mrd. EUR, +0,8 %).

On the other hand, as in the previous year, there was a
decline in the exports to Japan. In 2007 exports to
Japan decreased by 6.2 %. This was probably mainly a
result of the strength of the euro in comparison to
the yen.
EXPORT HIT — VEHICLES, MACHINERY
AND ELECTRICAL PRODUCTS
Reaching a total share of 60.7%, vehicles, machinery
and electrical products were once again the most
important groups of goods the Bavarian economy exported in 2007.
Vehicles were again in first place (49.1billion EUR,
+9.3%), machinery in second place (28 billion
EUR, +12.9%), followed by electrical products (16.1
billion EUR, +0.8%).

Im Jahr 2007 hat die bayerische Exportwirtschaft erstmals Waren im Wert von über 150 Milliarden Euro
weltweit abgesetzt. Mit Ausfuhren in Höhe von 153,6
Mrd. EUR und einem Plus von 8,7% stellte sie zum
vierzehnten Mal in Folge einen Ausfuhrrekord auf. Verglichen mit 1993, als die bayerischen Exporte noch
unter 50 Mrd. EUR lagen, haben sich die Ausfuhren aus
Bayern in 14 Jahren damit mehr als verdreifacht.
Während sich die Zuwächse bei den Exporten nach
China (13,7%) und Indien (7,9%) nicht mehr so rasant
entwickelten wie im Vorjahr, konnten die bayerischen Exporte nach Russland erneut ein sehr hohes
Wachstum vom 38,2% aufweisen.

While exports to China (13.7%) and India (7.9 %) did
not increase as rapidly as in the previous year, Bavarian
exports to Russia once again showed a very high
growth rate of 38.2 %.

Im Vergleich der Bundesländer belegte Bayern mit
einem Anteil von 19,5% am deutschen Export
hinter Nordrhein-Westfalen (22,1%) und vor BadenWürttemberg (19,1%) den zweiten Platz. Auch
die bayerische Exportdynamik (+ 8,7%) war erneut
kräftiger als die Deutschlands insgesamt (+ 8,1%).

Although the exports into the EU countries in Central
and Eastern Europe are nowhere near the levels of
the long-term EU partners, they have again developed much more dynamically than the exports to those
countries during the past year. Thus the exports to
Poland showed an increase of 24.5% and exports to
Slovakia rose by 24%.

Die Exporte in die mittel- und osteuropäischen
EU-Länder sind zwar von den Niveaus der langjährigen
EU-Partner noch weit entfernt, entwickelten sich
aber im vergangenen Jahr erneut viel dynamischer als
die Ausfuhren in die alten EU-Länder. So verzeichnete der Export nach Polen einen Zuwachs von 24,5%,
und die Ausfuhren in die Slowakei stiegen um 24%.
