Dear Madam or Sir,
Innovations make it possible to keep up with worldwide progress and to meet
the constantly increasing product requirements in terms of function, quality and
efficiency. With this in mind, it is important in rubber technology to pool the
available knowledge both about material production and processing behaviour
and about the properties of viscoelastic materials.
Only through intensive dialogue between commodity producers, processors,
users and researchers can we ensure that all the individual gearwheels mesh
together in order to fully exploit the enormous potential of rubber materials.
At the conference, current trends and innovations with organic and silicone
rubbers will be introduced, and ongoing challenges will be discussed. Raw
material manufacturers will present their latest approaches and developments
in product manufacturing. Well-reputed processors will report on the problems
and their solutions for the economical production of high-performance
elastomeric components of the highest quality. Leading users of high-performance
elastomeric components will round off the conference by presenting current
research projects and their approaches.
The aim of the IKV conference is to show how high-performance elastomeric
components can be manufactured by using innovative materials, new
compounding concepts and revolutionary processing methods. In direct
dialogue, experts will discuss approaches that accelerate their own development
processes as well as the innovative production of elastomeric components.

The attendance fee is EUR 895 for non-members of the IKV Sponsors’
Association, and EUR 695 for members. The fee includes the conference papers,
the conference dinner, lunch (liable to VAT) and drinks during the breaks. Bank
and transfer charges to be paid by the participants.

Cancellations:
Please send any cancellations in writing to IKV. If the cancellation is made by
August 31, 2013, we will refund the full paid-up sum less a processing charge
of EUR 70. In the event of a cancellation after this date, the full attendance fee
must be paid, and we will send you the conference papers. IKV reserves the
right to cancel the event. If this happens, the attendance fees will be refunded
in full. The Institute will not be responsible for other obligations over and beyond
