We generally calculate returns on a monthly basis using the franking licence incorporated in the consignment barcode. For customers with large volumes of returns, Swiss Post can agree a price by contract. Surcharge for additional processing Your customer advisor or the competence center for parcel quality will be more than happy to advise you on the right packaging and addressing of parcels, as well as Swiss-Express consignments. The specifications for parcels that can be processed automatically are also described in detail in the brochure “Instructions for sending Swiss-Express and parcel consignments”. In the event of deviations from these conditions, Swiss Post may add a surcharge for additional processing. For customers with a “contract for postal services”, the surcharge is agreed as an integral part of the contract. We will also collect your consignments in the appropriate containers or on pallets. The prices are calculated according to quantity and distance.
