The Thursford Christmas Spectacular, the largest
Christmas show in England and live from the heart
of Norfolk, is a pageant of colour, spectacle, and
music. With the rousing sound of trumpets, the skirl
of bagpipes, and the rattle of drums, your heart
will miss a beat at such a sensation of sights and
sounds. The Mighty Wurlitzer, is the corner stone of
every lavish production, where behind the scenes a
powerful array of instruments perform in harmony.
Your Itinerary
Day 1 - Depart from your chosen pick up point
during the morning and travel to Norwich, making
an appropriate comfort stop en-route at Cambridge
Services. Upon arrival in Norwich, we will head
directly to the 4* Maids Head Hotel where overnight
accommodation has been reserved on a bed and
breakfast basis. The Maids Head is conveniently
situated in Norwich town city opposite the famous
Norman cathedral. One of Norwich’s most famous
hotels, it includes some fine examples of 13th century
architecture. All rooms are reserved with private
bathrooms, hairdryer, satellite TV, direct dial phones
and tea/coffee making facilities. Hotel features include
restaurant, bar and lounge. After checking in to your
rooms there will be time at leisure before departing from
the hotel during the late afternoon for the journey to
Thursford, arriving in time for the evening (19.00hrs.)
performance of the Thursford Christmas Spectacular.
After what is sure to be a great night of entertainment
the coach will be waiting to transfer you back to the
hotel.
Day 2 - After breakfast, we check out of the hotel
and load your luggage onto the coach. The morning
will then be at leisure in Norwich. During the early
afternoon we rejoin the coach and travel to Cambridge
where you will have time at leisure before continuing
the journey back to the Midlands, arriving during the mid
evening.

The Thursford Collection does not permit children
under 8 years of age. Wheelchair users: There is
limited wheelchair space at the Thursford Christmas
Spectacular, therefore Harry Shaw City Cruiser Holidays
must be made aware of those wishing to remain in their
wheelchairs at time of original booking. Patrons who
wish to remain in their wheelchairs must have a ticket
that is printed with ‘Wheelchair Seat’. Thursford cannot
supply wheelchairs for this event.
Important Notes:
1) Should the performance of the Thursford Christmas Spectacular be cancelled
for reasons beyond our control, after the tour has departed, the tour will still
continue, and the face value of the ticket will be refunded - there will be no further
compensation payable.
2) *The price of £170.00 per person is based on a minimum of 35 paying members
travelling. However, if and we hope that our numbers increase to a minimum of 45
paying memebers, the price will then reduce to £160.00 per person.
