Ready for Pushback. Am Dienstagvormittag
schleppte erstmals ein Taxibot eine Boeing 737 im
regulären Flugbetrieb zur Startbahn. Der Flug
LH140 von Frankfurt nach Nürnberg hatte 122
Passagiere an Bord. Die Cockpit-Crew bestand aus
Kapitän Ulrich Pade, Flottenchef Boeing 737, FRA
NF/E, und Copilot Philipp Eisenhauer. Pade kannte
den Taxibot aus diversen Tests, die der Taxibot im
Vorfeld absolvieren musste, um eine VorfeldZertifizierung zu bekommen. „Es rollt sich wie sonst
auch“, ist Pades Eindruck; mit Beschleunigung und
Bremsen des Taxibots war er sehr zufrieden. Der Taxibot ist ein Hybrid-Schlepper, das heißt er schleppt
das Flugzeug mit einem Elektro-Diesel-Antrieb und das reduziert Bodenlärm. Was aber noch wichtiger
ist, der Taxibot spart Treibstoff: Auf dem Rollweg von Position A30 bis zur Startbahn 18 hat die Boeing
737 auf dieses Weise zwischen 100 und 150 Kilogramm Kerosin gespart.
Der Flug LH140 war der Auftakt zur sechsmonatigen Operation. Hier sind täglich maximal drei Taxibots
von 5:00 Uhr bis 21:00 Uhr im Einsatz, um möglichst alle 737-Flugzeuge, welche am A-Finger des
Terminal 1 andocken, zu pushen.
