How to use your
Emjoi® Stylit+
1. Insert the adapter jack into the
charging base of the Emjoi®
Stylit+ unit. Plug the adapter
into an electric outlet (fig 1).
Place the Emjoi® Stylit+ unit
into the charging base and
the red indicator will light up.
Initial charging will take 16
hours. Once every 6 months
we recommend that you
completely discharge and
recharge the battery.
2. To operate your Emjoi
Stylit+ simply push the black
button on the handle (fig 2).

3. The Emjoi® Stylit+ will gently
vibrate as its dual opposed
combs move over 100 beats
per second (fig 3).
4. Brush the Emjoi® Stylit+
through your hair for a salon
look and feel in seconds (fig
4). If your hair is particularly
knotty or matted from hair
spray or gel, use short strokes
and gradually increase the
length of strokes until you
reach your desired
smoothness. Then you can
switch to long smooth strokes.

1. To add natural volume – flip
your head upside down and
brush from the roots down to
the ends.
1. To clean your Emjoi® Stylit+,
make sure the unit is OFF and
unplugged from the electrical
outlet (fig 5).
2. To clean and add shine – run
comb through hair in long
smooth strokes to knock out
dust and to give your hair a
healthy shine.

clockwise a quarter of the way
(fig 6).
Q. Do I need batteries to operate
the Emjoi® Stylit+?
A. No. The Emjoi® Stylit+ is a
rechargeable styling comb.
All you need to do is charge
it and it goes with you
anywhere.
3. To add volume at the roots –
use a circular motion to gently
lift hair out from the scalp.
4. To give bangs a lift – brush
underneath at roots and move
forward.
5. For all over volume – brush
underneath your hair from
roots to ends.
6. To smooth and straighten –
brush your hair from roots to
ends.
7. To give hair a mid-day pick up
– use the comb on the front
section of your hair and gently
move the comb from roots
down to the ends.
3. The Emjoi® Stylit+ comb is
easily removed with a gentle
pull. Hold the handle in one
hand and with the opposite
hand; gently pull the comb
head (fig 7).
4. You can wash the comb
manually with mild soap and
water. After repeated use
natural oils and residue may
collect on the teeth of the
comb. In addition to washing,
it is recommended to clean
with a toothbrush, nail brush
or a similar tool.
5. Make sure the comb is
completely dry before
reattaching it to the base of
the unit. Place the comb into
its original position. Insert a
coin into the top of the brush
head and turn counter
clockwise a quarter of the way
until you hear a “click” sound
(fig 8).
Q. How long do I need to charge
it for?
A. The first time you charge the
Emjoi® Stylit+ you need to
charge it for 16 hours. After
the initial charging you can
use it whenever you like. We
recommend replacing the
unit back on its charger when
not in use.
Q. How does it add shine?
A. By combing your hair with a
100 beats per second, the
Emjoi® Stylit+ removes dust
and other contaminants that
weight hair down and make
it appear dull.
Q. Can I use it on wet hair?
A. No. You can use the Emjoi®
Stylit+ on towel-dried hair
but for best results use it on
dry hair.

if I have mousse or gel in my
hair?
A. Yes. The Emjoi® Stylit+ will
actually clean the dulling
residue out of your hair that
styling products leave behind.

Q: Can I get the Emjoi Stylit+
wet?
A. No. You cannot submerge
the Emjoi® Stylit+ into
water. You can detach the
comb part of the unit to clean
it in water.

Stellen Sie Ihr Emjoi® Stylit+
in die Ladestation (Abb. 1).

ersten Gebrauch laden Sie das Gerät
ca. 16 Stunden auf. Zur Wartung
der Batterien sollten diese alle 6
Monate komplett tiefgeladen und
dann wieder 16 Stunden neu

Q. How do I clean it?
A. Make sure you have turned
the Emjoi® Stylit+ off.
Detach the comb (see
maintenance section) and
clean it manually with soap
and water. You can also use
a toothbrush to get out
residue in between the teeth
of the comb. After you have
cleaned the comb, make sure
it is completely dry before
reattaching it to the unit.

3. Der Emjoi® Stylit+ Kamm beginnt
mit 100 Schwingungen in der

Führen Sie den Emjoi® Stylit+ mit
langen sanften Strichen vom Ansatz zu
den Spitzen durchs Haar (Abb. 4).
Wenn Ihr Haar stellenweise verklebt
oder glanzlos von Haarspray oder Gel
ist, kämmen Sie mit kürzeren Strichen
und längeren Intervallen, bis Sie die
gewünschte Glätte erreicht haben.
Dann setzen Sie, wenn nötig, die
Behandlung mit langen, weichen
Strichen fort.
Reinigen
Drücken Sie zum Ausschalten einfach
den Schalter (Abb. 5)
Stecken Sie eine Münze in den Schlitz
(Abb. 6), drehen Sie diese im
Uhrzeigersinn und nehmen Sie den
Emjoi® Stylit+
Kammaufsatz durch leichtes Ziehen
ab (Abb. 7). Der Kamm kann mit
Wasser und milder Seife gewaschen
werden.
Zum Entfernen von Fett und anderen
Rückständen, die sich nach
mehrfachem Gebrauch angesammelt
haben, empfiehlt es sich, den Kamm
mit einer Zahn- oder Nagelbürste
oder Ähnlichem zu reinigen.
Der Kamm kann ganz leicht wieder
aufgesetzt werden. Lassen Sie ihn
einrasten und drehen Sie ihn mit einer
Münze, jetzt entgegen dem
Uhrzeigersinn, wieder fest (Abb. 8).
