Auch wenn allein in Deutschland jährlich über
eine Million Zahnimplantate eingesetzt werden
und von einem Routineeingriff gesprochen werden kann, darf nicht vergessen werden, dass
eine Implantation ein chirurgischer Eingriff ist.
Bereits im Moment der Implantation entsteht
eine erste stabile Verbindung zum Knochen.
Wichtig ist, dass möglichst viel gut durchbluteter Knochen vorhanden ist, der das Implantat
umschließt. In den Wochen nach der Implantation verbinden sich dann die Knochenaufbauzellen von allen Seiten mit der Implantatoberfläche.
Dieser Vorgang wird als Osseointegration bezeichnet.
Was man vor und nach der Implantation zu beachten hat, erläutert Ihnen Ihr Zahnarzt. Nach
